Genshin Impact: All Anemo Characters (Updated December 2022)

Air is one of the four classical elements, along with Earth, Water, and Fire. It is often associated with flexibility and adaptability.

In video games, air or wind is used offensively and defensively. Depending on how it is used, this element is known for its power to destroy, heal, or provide support.

The same is true for Genshin Impact. In this game, there are characters who hold the Anemo Vision, and the powers of the wind are in their hands. Some of them can heal and provide support. Some of them can send enemies flying!

In this article, we have gathered all the current Anemo characters from the game. Let’s get to know them!

Faruzan

Rarity	4 stars
Weapon	Bow
How to Obtain	Featured as a new character during the 1st phase of Version 3.3. After this, she can be obtained at a normal rate from all Standard Wish Banners and Character Event Wishes except Beginner’s Wish.

Despite her youthful appearance, this Anemo character is at least a hundred years old and is currently a professor at the Sumeru Akademiya. This appearance has something to do with what happened to Faruzan in the past. Exposed to the remnants of the Scarlet King’s power in the deserts of Sumeru at some point, she mysteriously stopped aging and disappeared for years. Although she looks like a student, she prefers being called “Madam” Faruzan.

Heizou

Rarity	4 stars

How to Obtain	Can be obtained at a normal rate from all Standard Wish Banners and Character Event Wishes except Beginner’s Wish.

This Anemo character is an Inazuman detective under the Tenryou Commission. Disliked by many because of his unrestrained demeanor and unorthodox ways, Shikanoin Heizou has undeniable talent and always delivers results. Because of this, his superior Kujou Sara keeps him despite disliking his attitude.

Jean

How to Obtain	Can be obtained from the limited-time Event Wish Banners and from the Standard Wish Banners.

A descendant of the prestigious Gunnhildr Clan and the older sister of the 4-star Hydro character Barbara, Jean is the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius. People in Mondstadt call her for help almost all the time, and she takes her role seriously, even if the task is a minor one, such as finding a lost cat. Much to the concern of her fellow Knights, she seems to work non-stop.

Kazuha

How to Obtain	Can only be obtained from the “Leaves in the Wind” banner.

True to his affiliation with the Anemo element, Kazuha believes that everyone has the right to have hopes and dreams. He also believes that no one has the right to take them, not even a god. For this reason, he opposes the Raiden Shogun’s Vision Hunt Decree, an order that aims to seize all Visions within Inazuma’s borders, that caused the death of his dear friend. However, despite his beliefs, he isn’t prideful and still acknowledges the abilities of those he disagrees with.

Sayu

How to Obtain	Can be obtained at a normal rate from all Standard Wish Banners and Character Event Wishes except Beginner’s Wish.

Strongly believing that sleeping can help with her growth, this little ninja has mastered the ninjutsu to hide from work and responsibilities to have as much time to nap as possible. Sayu is a skilled ninja, and from her point of view, what people see as her laziness is a time for her to focus on things such as… well, growing taller. Except for the Traveler and Yae Miko, Sayu doesn’t like it when people pat her head as she believes that it will impede her growth.

Sucrose

How to Obtain	Can be obtained at a normal rate from all Standard Wish Banners and Character Event Wishes except Beginner’s Wish.

This Anemo character is the assistant of the 5-star Geo character Albedo, the head alchemist of the Knights of Favonius. With an insatiable curiosity toward the world and everything in it, Sucrose strives to enrich the world by transforming living things with the power of alchemy. While the products of her research are sometimes weird, she has already made a huge contribution to the field of bio-alchemy.

Traveler

Rarity	5 stars

How to Obtain	This is the first element for the Traveler, obtainable by resonating with the Anemo Element. This can be done by interacting with the Statue of the Seven in Mondstadt when playing as the Traveler.

The Traveler is the main protagonist of the game and is from another world. While traveling with their twin sibling throughout the universe, an unknown god blocked and captured one of them. Because of this, they are stranded in Teyvat.

Venti

Rarity	5 stars

How to Obtain	Can only be obtained from the “Ballad in Goblets” banner.

A free-spirited, wine-loving bard in Mondstadt, no one would ever suspect that this young Anemo character is actually the current mortal vessel of the Anemo Archon Barbatos. Unlike most gods in different nations, Venti loves freedom. Thus, Mondstadt is the city of freedom. Because of this, he doesn’t have personal finances and would just pilfer from the Dawn Winery and have people who listen to his songs buy him drinks as payment. However, as much as he loves alcohol and has an unusually high tolerance level, the form he took through Venti causes people to see him as a minor.

Wanderer

How to Obtain	Can only be obtained from the “From Ashes Reborn” banner.

Better known formerly as the Fatui Harbinger Scaramouche, the Wanderer was initially created by the Inazuman Archon Ei as a Gnosis-bearing puppet. However, he was later deemed a failure by the Electro Archon and was abandoned.

Xiao

How to Obtain	Can only be obtained from the “Invitation to Mundane Life” banner.

This Anemo character is an Adeptus who fought during the Archon War. Xiao may look young, but tales of his exploits have been documented for millennia. He currently resides at Wangshu Inn and is particularly fond of the inn’s Almond Tofu. However, the reason is not simply because the dish is light and refreshing. Xiao likes it because it tastes just like the sweet dreams he used to consume back when he was enslaved by an ancient god who forced him to perform cruel acts.
