Beautiful but cold, having control over ice is a fascinating ability. It can freeze, and slow enemies, and it can also sting like fire!
While not true all the time, characters who wield the power of ice are as sharp and cold. But one thing we can always agree on is that ice in video games is presented in a way that is aesthetically pleasing.
Genshin Impact has its fair share of this beautiful element. Having the Cryo Vision in the game means having the ability to control ice. But who are the playable characters with the Cryo Vision? Well, we have listed all the current ones below.
Aloy

The main protagonist of Horizon Zero Dawn, this Cryo Character is a crossover character in Genshin Impact introduced as a collaboration between Guerrilla Games and HoYoverse.

Ayaka

Beautiful, elegant, graceful, and seen as a model of perfection, this Cryo character is the eldest daughter of the Kamisato Clan of the Yashiro Commission. Not only is Ayaka physically beautiful, but she also has a beautiful heart and treats others with politeness and courtesy. She even goes out of her way to try to help others.
Chongyun

Born with lots of yangs (positive energy), this Cryo character is a very effective exorcist as spirits flee before he can even see them. This means that although Chongyun is an exorcist, he has never actually seen a spirit himself. This abundance of positive energy also makes him vulnerable to “warm” things such as food, clothing, the sun, and even the act of blushing. To counter these, he eats cold food and wears light-colored and light-weight clothing.

This Cryo character is a popular bartender at the Cat’s Tail and a rising star in Mondstadt‘s wine industry. However, Diona actually hates alcohol and wants to put an end to the industry. This is because although she adored her father in her youth, she saw how his personality changes under the influence of alcohol.

This Cryo character is a descendant of the notoriously tyrannical Lawrence Clan who once ruled over Mondstadt. However, she is unlike any of her predecessors and has joined the ranks of the Knights of Favonius to the dismay of her family.

The Cavalry Captain of the Knights of Favonius and the most trusted aide for the Acting Grand Master Jean, this Cryo character is held in high regard by the people of Mondstadt. He is also surprisingly popular among the elderly and is even called the “top candidate for grandson-in-law!”

Layla

This Cryo character is a Rtawahist student from Sumeru Akademiya. Her teachers expect a lot from her. As a result, she always has a lot of papers to write and is constantly deprived of sleep.

This Cryo character is a zombie under the care of Baizhu at the Bubu Pharmacy. Due to her undead nature, Qiqi speaks flatly and is unable to express any emotions. She also prefers cold weather as her flesh begins to decay in hot places.
Rosaria

If not for her attire, one would never think that this Cryo character is a nun at the Church of Favonius. Like ice, she has a cold manner and speaks with sharp, piercing words.
Shenhe

This Cryo character had a happy life as a child until her father tried to sacrifice her to a malevolent god in order to resurrect his wife. Although Shenhe managed to survive and was taken in by the Adeptus Cloud Retainer, she has been scarred for life.
