RV There Yet Multiplayer: How Many Players and How Co-op Works

RV There Yet Multiplayer supports up to four people online, including the host. Nuggets Entertainment’s game puts everyone in one recreational vehicle, so the group has to cooperate on the driving, winches, repairs and supplies rather than controlling four separate RVs.

The October 29, 2026 crossplay patch lets PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and Microsoft Store PC players join the same session. You can also play alone, but the game’s best-known moments come from rescuing the RV when your friends have got it stuck somewhere ridiculous.

A lobby holds the host and up to three guests, for four players in total. Steam, PlayStation and Nintendo all advertise the same online player limit, so bringing in a friend from another platform does not increase the party size.

PlayStation lists one player locally, with online play optional. Nintendo also lists one player on a single Switch 2 system and one to four players over the internet. The official listings do not describe a four-person split-screen mode on one television. For a full group, use online multiplayer on separate devices.

How RV There Yet Multiplayer co-op works

Have one person drive while the others watch the route, operate the front and rear winches and look for supplies. The RV needs to survive steep roads and awkward crossings on the way to Route 65. Winches are especially useful when the wheels cannot get enough grip to climb a slope.

RV There Yet Multiplayer works best when the person outside the vehicle can call out obstacles and guide the driver. The Steam edition includes proximity voice chat. The team can also gather burgers, antidotes and EpiPens to deal with the hazards along the way, and keep the vehicle repaired.

RV There Yet Multiplayer maps and routes

Mabutts Valley is the original route, and Mt. Yurbuttsk is the second map. The third map, St. Búttin Bay, arrived on September 10, 2026. Nuggets added a new coastal environment, animals, items, tools, narrative and music with that update.

The three maps give your crew different terrain to tackle, but the basic challenge stays the same: keep the RV moving and use the equipment at the right moment. St. Búttin Bay adds a coastal setting with fresh animals, tools, items and story material.

Install the latest version of the game, then start an online lobby. Patch 1.4.1 added join by code, allowing friends on different platforms to join the host’s session. Share the current code privately and have the others enter it through their game’s multiplayer joining interface.

You can also find open sessions through the public browser. The October update added filters for session length, player count and open slots. Select a lobby with a free place, because a session containing four players has reached the normal game limit.

Can PS5, Xbox, Switch 2 and PC play together?

Yes. RV There Yet Multiplayer now supports full crossplay across Steam PC, Microsoft Store PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The feature went live with patch 1.4.1 on October 29, 2026, alongside the two new console releases.

The Nintendo release is for Switch 2, not the original Switch. Crossplay lets friends join the same online adventure while each uses the version purchased on their own platform. It does not combine game purchases or automatically move a save between storefronts.

RV There Yet Multiplayer subscriptions and solo play

PS5 players need PlayStation Plus for the online mode, according to PlayStation’s official listing. Nintendo Switch 2 players need Nintendo Switch Online for internet co-op. These memberships are separate from the purchase price of the game itself.

Solo play is available if you want to tackle the trip without a lobby, although you will handle the driving, recovery and supplies yourself. With friends, divide the jobs before tackling a difficult section. Having someone guide the winch while another drives is often the easiest way through.
