RV There Yet Join Code is a multiplayer feature added in patch 1.4.1 on October 29, 2026. It lets you join a friend’s lobby across PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S and PC without depending entirely on platform-specific friend invitations.
Patch 1.4.1 brought code joining to the game along with full crossplay. One friend hosts the RV trip and the others use the code for that specific session. It works across the supported PC and console editions, with a maximum of four players in the lobby.
How RV There Yet Join Code works

To invite a friend, start an online session as the host and read the code shown for that lobby. Send it directly to your group. On the other console or PC, open the multiplayer joining option, choose code joining and enter the code exactly as displayed.
Keep the host’s lobby open while everyone connects. Once a friend joins, check the player list before starting the drive. If the host has opened a new lobby since sending the invitation, share the current code again rather than using the old one.
RV There Yet Join Code on PS5 and Xbox
PS5 owners need an active PlayStation Plus membership for online co-op, as stated on the PlayStation Store. After the game installs and updates, start or enter an online session and use the code given by your friend. The host is counted as one of the maximum four players.
Xbox Series X|S users should update to the current game release as well. Xbox and PS5 can now play together following the October patch, so there is no need to restrict your group to players on one console family. The code is a session joining tool, not a way to transfer a game license or saved progress.
RV There Yet Join Code on Steam, Microsoft Store PC and Switch 2
The original Steam release now connects with every supported console edition. Microsoft Store PC players use the same crossplay pool. RV There Yet Join Code works across those versions after the October 29 update, provided the host’s session is still open.
RV There Yet Join Code also connects Nintendo Switch 2 players to the others. Nintendo lists Switch Online for online co-op, with one player per system and up to four online. The game is a native Switch 2 release, so players should select Nuggets Entertainment’s title rather than similarly named Switch driving games.
RV There Yet Join Code not working

First ask the host to check that their session is still active and has a space free. A normal lobby holds four players total. Compare the code exactly, then make sure the joining player has finished installing their platform’s latest update and can access online multiplayer.
A closed or full lobby cannot admit another friend even with a matching code. If the host has restarted, use the code from the current session rather than an older screenshot. If joining still fails, restart the lobby and try its newly displayed code.
RV There Yet Join Code vs IP and public lobbies
Nuggets added three useful ways to get into multiplayer: join by code, join by IP and improved public session searching. Code joining is intended for a friend with a particular lobby. Public browsing is useful when you want to find a group with open slots. Version 1.4.1 added filters for session length, player count and open spaces.
Join by IP is a separate networking feature. It is not a reason to post a home IP address in a public group or disable router protections. For ordinary cross-platform co-op, RV There Yet Join Code is a straightforward way to join friends without sharing that private information.
RV There Yet Join Code player limit and co-op
The group limit is four people, including the host. Once everyone joins, the players share one RV as they drive towards Route 65, operate front and rear winches, gather supplies and repair damage from the road. You can play solo as well, but the driving and rescue mechanics are designed around teamwork.
Once all four players have joined, the crew can get on with driving, winching and keeping the RV in one piece. The code is only needed to get everybody into the same online session.
