VOID DIVER Equipment Set Bonuses: Random Options and 2-Piece, 3-Piece Effects

VOID DIVER equipment set bonuses activate when you equip two or three accessories belonging to the same set. The November 2026 closed beta also introduces random Options on equipment, meaning duplicate items can have different stats even when they share the same name.

Before selling a duplicate, compare its Options with the item you’re already wearing. One copy may have a better individual roll, while another accessory could complete a matching two- or three-piece set. Both details matter when deciding what to keep.

How VOID DIVER equipment set bonuses work

VOID DIVER equipment set bonuses have two matching thresholds: two pieces and three pieces. Equip accessories from the same set to reach those thresholds. The developer describes the rewards as tiered effects, but it has not supplied a complete list of set names or exact values in its beta announcement.

Importantly, the developer talks about accessories as the matching set pieces. Do not assume an unrelated helmet or another equipment slot counts towards that total. The item description in your current game build is the right place to check each piece’s set affiliation.

VOID DIVER equipment set bonuses: Two-piece vs three-piece effects

Two matching accessories activate the two-piece tier, while three qualify for the three-piece tier. Check the set effects displayed with your equipped accessories before replacing a strong individual item; the developer’s announcement does not specify whether every tier adds to or replaces the earlier effect.

A useful way to compare VOID DIVER equipment set bonuses is to equip two matching pieces, note the effects shown, then try the third. You can test each setup in the improved Training Ground, which now provides numeric DPS figures and adjustable dummy settings. Use the same test conditions if you want a meaningful comparison.

Can two copies of the same equipment have different stats?

Yes. Random Options mean that two copies of the same weapon or equipment piece can roll different stats. One duplicate might suit your current playstyle better, while another could be kept for a different character or build. Checking the roll before selling a spare is worthwhile.

Random Options are separate from VOID DIVER equipment set bonuses. You can combine the individual Options you prefer with matching accessory set effects. NEMO STUDIO says this is part of the reason to farm and craft equipment repeatedly in the new build.

How to build a set and protect the best pieces

  1. Inspect the accessories in your equipment inventory.
  2. Check the set shown in each item’s description.
  3. Equip two matching accessories and review the effect.
  4. Try three matching pieces if you have them and compare the displayed changes.
  5. Compare the random Options on any duplicates before choosing which to keep.
  6. Lock valuable equipment before sorting or selling your inventory.

The new Item Lock feature helps you preserve promising gear. Locked items are placed together at the front when sorting, reducing the chance of accidentally selling or discarding something important. It is particularly helpful when comparing several rolls of the same accessory.

Where to farm VOID DIVER equipment set bonuses

NEMO STUDIO has adjusted the game’s item drops and crafting economy to reduce situations where growth stalls because a material refuses to appear. It also added Lounge facilities that can produce some crafting materials without another dungeon run. Neither announcement gives a confirmed drop map for every accessory set.

Do VOID DIVER equipment set bonuses work with Skilled Levels?

Yes, they are separate systems that affect how you build a character. Equipment Options and accessory effects come from gear, while Skilled Levels unlock additional character Traits. Using both allows more build combinations, although the official notes do not give a mathematical ranking of every possible setup.

Ming, the new staff-wielding melee bruiser, can also use the beta’s wider equipment and Trait systems once unlocked through Level 5 Lounge quests. Compare the stats displayed on your accessories before choosing a set, then test the complete build in the Training Ground.

Remember that gear collected in the closed beta will not transfer into the January 2027 release. Learning how VOID DIVER equipment set bonuses work can still be useful for when the full game arrives, but the specific items and rolls obtained in the CBT are temporary.
