Genshin Impact: Nahida’s Ascension Materials and locations (Updated November 2022)

3.2 UPDATE: Dendro Hypostasis has been added to the game, a Normal Boss that drops two of Nahida’s Ascension Materials.

Nahida, the newest Archon character in Genshin Impact, has become playable starting Version 3.2. This 5-star Dendro character first appeared as a mysterious girl during the Archon quest in Version 3.0, helping the Traveler and Paimon make sense of the repetitiveness of the Sabzeruz Festival.

This mysterious child was later revealed as the current Dendro Archon. However, while she is Lesser Lord Kusanali, who is the God of Wisdom, most of her people in Sumeru are fixated on worshipping the former Archon Greater Lord Rukkhadevata.

If you want to add Nahida to your team, you might consider preparing for some of her ascension materials.

NAGADUS EMERALD GEMS

This group of gems is used for ascending Dendro characters.  You can obtain them primarily by fighting Normal Bosses.

Normal Bosses that drop Nagadus Emerald

– Dendro Hypostasis – Jadeplume Terrorshroom

The QUELLED CREEPER is also dropped by the Dendro Hypostasis, a Normal Boss that was released in Genshin Impact Version 3.2. If you’re new to the game, you can craft higher rarity gems or convert one gem into another via Alchemy. You can do this by interacting with the crafting benches in the different cities in Teyvat.

KALPALATA LOTUS

As a Local Specialty, this plant can only be found in Sumeru. However, don’t be fooled by the “lotus” in its name. This plant can be found on the region’s cliffsides, similar to the Violetgrass in Liyue. SPORES, POLLEN, and CYST DUST

Spores, Pollen, and Cyst Dust are dropped by several kinds of Fungi in Sumeru. If you’re running low on these materials and are unsure where you can find some Fungi, you can check the enemy’s location by going to the Paimon Menu > Adventurer Handbook > Enemies > Fungus > Navigate.

You can also craft higher-rarity Fungi drops via Alchemy.

Nahida’s Talent Ascension Materials

Nahida’s talent “books” or Talent Ascension Materials are the Ingenuity set. This set can be obtained by challenging the Steeple of Ignorance domain on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. This is located near Chatrakam Cave.

You can also craft higher rarity Ingenuity books via Alchemy.
