Genshin Impact ‘Jadeplume Terrorshroom’ Guide: How to defeat and complete the Behemoth Observation objectives

The region of Sumeru is home to thriving jungles and rainforests, the natural habitats of different flora and fauna. Among its many creatures, the Jadeplume Terrorshroom is one of those that truly stand out.

This beast is one of the most interesting creatures in Sumeru as it has unique features. It appears to be part fungi and part bird. The Jadeplume Terrorshroom is also called The Beloved King of Fungi.

As part of the Graven Innocence event’s Behemoth Observation, you will have to fight this mighty beast. With this, you might be wondering how you can defeat the Jadeplume Terrorshroom.

Here’s how you can defeat the Jadeplume Terrorshroom

Defeating the Jadeplume Terrorshroom is relatively easy without thinking about any mechanic or objective. However, defeating it with several objectives in mind requires strategy.

Below are the objectives while fighting the Jadeplume Terrorshroom during the Behemoth Observation sub-event. We have also included some tips for you to complete them.

• Defeat the Jadeplume Terrorshroom before it creates new Fungi

To meet this objective, you must defeat the Terrorshroom as soon as possible. Take note that putting the world boss in a Scorched state (by using Pyro) will make it spawn some fungi (mushroom-like enemies) that will attack you. Therefore, it is NOT recommended for you to use Pyro attacks.

Instead, put the world boss in an Activated state by triggering Catalyze or hitting it with Dendro–Electro attacks. Note that the Terrorshroom imbues itself with the Dendro aura, so you can choose not to bring a Dendro character if you still haven’t built one.

As for the Activated state, you should see its progress by looking at the circular meter below the world boss’s HP bar. This state will enhance the Terrorshroom‘s abilities but will eventually lead to its exhaustion. The mechanic is similar to how Tri-Lakshana creatures are put into different states.

• Defeat the Jadeplume Terrorshroom without being hit by its Volatile Spore Cloud

Again, once the Terrorshroom is in the Activated state, its abilities will be enhanced. Therefore, you should keep your distance and dodge incoming attacks by running.

You’ll know when the world boss is about to release the Spore Cloud if you start seeing spores forming around it. The best thing to do is move away.

• Defeat the Jadeplume Terrorshroom without being hit by its Special Attacks when activated

The same thing can be said about this objective. When the Terrorshroom is in the Activated state, move away, keep your eyes peeled, and dodge incoming attacks.

• Defeat the Jadeplume Terrorshroom after it is rendered stunned from exhaustion

After going on a rampage due to its Activated state, the Terrorshroom will become exhausted. This is your chance to go all out with your damage-dealing skills and deplete the enemy’s HP.
