Genshin Impact Version 3.2 release date: When will Nahida and Layla be playable?

The first phase of Genshin Impact Version 3.1 will soon come to a close, and its second phase will begin, featuring the release of the new 5-star Hydro character Nilou. While Nilou‘s unique gameplay with Bountiful Cores makes her quite an interesting character, it can’t be denied that the Version 3.2 release date is highly anticipated, as it is during this patch that another Archon character is expected to become playable.

It has been previously leaked that the Dendro Archon, Nahida, and a new 4-star Cryo character, Layla, will debut as playable characters in Version 3.2. As they will add some gameplay-wise changes, especially Nahida with her distinctive Elemental Skill, the upcoming patch will surely become exciting.

However, when exactly is the Genshin Impact Version 3.2 release date?

When is the Genshin Impact Version 3.2 release date?

As previously announced in the Genshin Impact 3.0 Special Program, versions 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3 would be released one week earlier than usual. This means that Versions 3.0 until 3.2 will only last for five weeks instead of the usual six-week cycle.

Now that the game is two weeks into Version 3.1, players must wait three more weeks for the Version 3.2 release date. With this in mind, the Version 3.2 release date is expected to be on November 2, 2022.

Aside from the debut of Nahida and Layla, leaks suggest that the Dendro Archon’s signature weapon, A Thousand Floating Dreams, will be featured on the Epitome Invocation weapon banner.

Moreover, according to the same leaks, 5-star characters Yoimiya, Childe or Tartaglia, and Yae Miko will have their banner reruns by then. Their signature weapons are also expected to be featured on the Epitome Invocation weapon banner. These are Thundering Pulse, Polar Star, and Kagura’s Verity, respectively.

While it may seem a little too early for Yoimiya to be featured again, considering she had a banner rerun in Version 2.8, this appears to have something to do with a previously leaked event that involves her and Childe.

Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed by miHoyo, also known as HoYoverse. The game is available for PC, PS4, PS5, iOS, and Android, while a release on Nintendo Switch is currently in the works.
