Pokémon GO PokéXciting Unown Locations are split across five cities during Pokémon’s 30th anniversary celebrations, with different Unown letters appearing from Incense in Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Singapore, Manila and Bangkok.
Ten Unown appearances have been announced across the PokéXciting! tour, although there are only eight unique letters because Unown T and Unown H appear in more than one city.
Every confirmed PokéXciting! Unown can also be Shiny, giving collectors another reason to keep Incense running throughout each event.
All Pokémon GO PokéXciting Unown Locations
The confirmed Pokémon GO PokéXciting Unown Locations are Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Singapore, Manila and Bangkok.
Each city receives two specific Unown letters through Incense.
| PokéXciting! Location | Event Dates | Unown Letters |
|---|---|---|
| Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia | September 12–13, 2026 | Unown M and Unown Y |
| Taipei, Taiwan | October 10–11, 2026 | Unown T and Unown W |
| Singapore | November 7–8, 2026 | Unown S and Unown G |
| Manila, Philippines | January 23–24, 2027 | Unown P and Unown H |
| Bangkok, Thailand | February 13–14, 2027 | Unown T and Unown H |
That gives PokéXciting! eight unique Unown letters in total:
- Unown G
- Unown H
- Unown M
- Unown P
- Unown S
- Unown T
- Unown W
- Unown Y
Unown T appears in both Taipei and Bangkok, while Unown H appears in Manila and Bangkok.

How to Get PokéXciting Unown in Pokémon GO
The confirmed PokéXciting! Unown are Incense encounters.
That means Trainers will need to use Incense during the relevant local event to attract the Unown letters assigned to that city.
The PokéXciting! Incense pool also includes Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie, so Unown will not be the only Pokémon appearing from Incense.
Unlike the wild spawn list, the Pokémon GO PokéXciting Unown Locations are specifically regional. Playing in Kuala Lumpur will not provide access to Singapore’s Unown S and Unown G, for example.
Collectors looking for all eight unique letters will therefore need access to multiple PokéXciting! locations.
Kuala Lumpur PokéXciting Unown Locations
Kuala Lumpur is the first stop on the PokéXciting! tour and features Unown M and Unown Y.
The Kuala Lumpur event takes place at KLCC Park on September 12 and September 13, 2026.
Both letters will be attracted to Incense during the event.
| Kuala Lumpur Unown | Shiny Available? |
|---|---|
| Unown M | Yes |
| Unown Y | Yes |
Kuala Lumpur is the only currently announced PokéXciting! location featuring Unown M or Unown Y, making both letters exclusive to this stop within the anniversary tour.

Can PokéXciting Unown Be Shiny?
Yes. Every Unown included in the announced Pokémon GO PokéXciting Unown Locations can potentially be Shiny.
The confirmed Shiny-capable forms are:
| Unown | PokéXciting! Location |
|---|---|
| Shiny Unown M | Kuala Lumpur |
| Shiny Unown Y | Kuala Lumpur |
| Shiny Unown T | Taipei and Bangkok |
| Shiny Unown W | Taipei |
| Shiny Unown S | Singapore |
| Shiny Unown G | Singapore |
| Shiny Unown P | Manila |
| Shiny Unown H | Manila and Bangkok |
Shiny availability does not mean an encounter is guaranteed to be Shiny, and no boosted Shiny rate for PokéXciting! Unown has been confirmed.
Which PokéXciting Unown Letters Are Exclusive to One City?
Six of the eight unique PokéXciting! Unown letters currently appear at only one stop on the tour.
These are:
| Unown | Only PokéXciting! Location |
|---|---|
| Unown M | Kuala Lumpur |
| Unown Y | Kuala Lumpur |
| Unown W | Taipei |
| Unown S | Singapore |
| Unown G | Singapore |
| Unown P | Manila |
Unown T and Unown H are the exceptions.
Unown T appears in Taipei and Bangkok, while Unown H appears in Manila and Bangkok.
This makes Kuala Lumpur and Singapore especially important for anyone hoping to collect every letter offered through the PokéXciting! tour, as neither city’s Unown pair is repeated elsewhere.
How Many PokéXciting Unown Are There?
There are eight unique Unown forms across all currently announced Pokémon GO PokéXciting Unown Locations.
There are ten total city-and-letter combinations because two forms repeat:
- Kuala Lumpur: M and Y
- Taipei: T and W
- Singapore: S and G
- Manila: P and H
- Bangkok: T and H
The first PokéXciting! Unown encounters arrive with Unown M and Unown Y in Kuala Lumpur on September 12, 2026, before the collection expands across Taipei, Singapore, Manila and Bangkok.
