Pokémon GO Wild Area Europe meetups take place in Karlsruhe, Germany, on Saturday 14 November and Stockholm, Sweden, on Sunday 15 November 2026. Both are official Community Ambassador gatherings during Wild Area: Global, and checking in unlocks event-specific Timed Research.
Each city has its own venue and schedule. Here’s where to go, when to arrive, how to RSVP and what you can actually collect once you’re there.
Pokémon GO Wild Area Europe meetups: times and addresses

Both Germany and Sweden are on Central European Time (CET) in November, an hour ahead of the UK on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). The times below are for the in-person gatherings, not the global gameplay window.
| City and day | Venue | Local CET | UK GMT |
|---|---|---|---|
| Karlsruhe, Saturday 14 November | Ettlinger Tor | 10:00 to 20:00 | 09:00 to 19:00 |
| Stockholm, Sunday 15 November | Kulturhuset Stadsteatern | 10:00 to 18:00 | 09:00 to 17:00 |
Karlsruhe: Ettlinger Tor, Karl-Friedrich-Straße 26, 76133 Karlsruhe, Germany. The Saturday event runs from 10:00 to 20:00 CET, and Pokémon GO says HanniMew will be there. Check the host’s Campfire listing for the precise meeting point.
Stockholm: Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, Sergels Torg, 111 57 Stockholm, Sweden. The event runs from 10:00 to 18:00 CET on Sunday and is hosted with SRE | Stockholm Raids & Events. Check its Campfire listing for any last-minute details.
Karlsruhe stays open two hours longer than the game event. Wild Area: Global gameplay runs from 10:00 to 18:00 local time each day, but the Karlsruhe meetup continues until 20:00 CET. The extra community hours don’t extend the global event bonuses or the time you can use GO Safari Balls.
How to RSVP for Pokémon GO Wild Area Europe meetups
The official Pokémon GO Wild Area Europe meetups announcement has an RSVP link for each city. Open the official news article linked below, choose Karlsruhe or Stockholm and follow that city’s Campfire listing. Pokémon GO suggests opening those links on your phone.
Karlsruhe’s participating groups include PO GO Süd-West Stadt Ka, Pokémon GO Stuttgart, Pokémon Pforzheim, Vaihingen an der Enz VAIne Raids and PoGo Freiburg. Stockholm’s named group is SRE | Stockholm Raids & Events. Their Campfire listings are useful for changes to the day’s arrangements.
Can’t find the event link? Use the in-game event calendar’s Join a Meetup option or search Campfire. Our Pokémon GO Campfire guide explains how to find groups. Remember that RSVP isn’t check-in: joining an event listing doesn’t unlock its research.
Pokémon GO Wild Area Europe meetups check-in and Timed Research

For the Pokémon GO Wild Area Europe meetups check-in, open the map through Nearby and look for a purple Meetup pin. Select the event, make sure it says Hosted by a Community Ambassador and tap Check In when you’re at the venue. The October gameplay update confirms this in-game route; Campfire also supports meetup check-ins.
Check-in opens 15 minutes before each meetup starts. For both cities, that’s 09:45 CET or 08:45 GMT on their respective dates. Wild Area gameplay still starts at 10:00 local time.
The in-game reward for checking in at the Pokémon GO Wild Area Europe meetups is event-specific Timed Research. The publisher hasn’t published the exact research tasks or encounter Pokémon, so there isn’t a confirmed reward list to follow. This is separate from the paid global event ticket’s Special Research.
Claim the initial 500 XP within one hour of checking in. Pokémon GO’s help centre says this is needed to receive the full Meetup Timed Research. If it doesn’t appear, check that the event has a Rewards icon, look for your successful check-in notification and try restarting the app. The research is limited to once per day, and you can’t claim it again if you’ve already received it in the previous 24 hours.
Pokémon GO Wild Area Europe meetups rewards and activities
Pokémon GO Wild Area Europe meetups include photo opportunities, activities with Community Ambassadors, and event pins and prints while supplies last. The physical giveaways are limited, so arriving late doesn’t guarantee you’ll get one.
The Pokémon GO team is also working with the hosts to add more PokéStops, Gyms and Power Spots near both gathering areas. No exact number is promised for either city; check the map once you’re there.
You don’t need a paid global ticket to enjoy the main Wild Area weekend. The ticket offers separate bonuses and Special Research, while the meetup check-in reward is linked to attending an eligible community gathering. Our Wild Area Global guide covers the wider event.
Can you attend other European community meetups?
Yes. Karlsruhe and Stockholm are the two locations highlighted by Pokémon GO, not the only communities planning to meet. Search Campfire or the event calendar for another Community Ambassador gathering closer to home.
If you can’t attend, you can still play Wild Area: Global worldwide on 14 and 15 November from 10:00 to 18:00 local time. The on-site check-in research isn’t a reward for simply playing from home.
For the Pokémon GO Wild Area Europe meetups, check your venue, RSVP through the right Campfire listing and make sure you complete the in-person check-in. That’s what gets you access to the confirmed Timed Research.
