Nintendo Switch 2 2026 bundles give UK buyers three choices for the holidays: Mario Kart World, Nintendo Switch Sports Resort or the Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition. The two game bundles include full digital downloads and 90-day Nintendo Switch Online Individual codes. The Zelda edition has specially decorated hardware, but no game or membership code in its standard box.
Sports Resort arrived on 22 October 2026, followed by Mario Kart World and the Zelda console on 29 October. All three include the usual Switch 2 accessories, and all three carry Nintendo’s warning that the hardware inside does not have a user-replaceable battery.
Nintendo Switch 2 2026 bundles: contents and launch dates

| Sports Resort | October 22, standard Switch 2, full game download, 90-day Individual Online code |
|---|---|
| Mario Kart World | October 29, standard Switch 2, full game download, 90-day Individual Online code |
| Zelda anniversary | October 29, Triforce-themed Switch 2, matching Joy-Con 2 and dock; no game or 90-day code |
The core hardware is the same across all three boxes: two Joy-Con 2 controllers, straps and grip, a dock, an AC adapter, an Ultra High Speed HDMI cable and an information leaflet. The Zelda edition changes the design of the console, controllers and dock. Mario Kart and Sports Resort have standard hardware, with digital games and membership time added.

Nintendo Switch 2 2026 bundles: which include games?
Mario Kart World and Sports Resort each come with a code for the full digital game. Redeem it in Nintendo eShop using the Nintendo Account that should own the software. These are not physical cartridges, and the games won’t expire when the separate three-month Online membership ends.
Zelda is a hardware-only anniversary edition. Its Triforce design appears on the system, dock and Joy-Con 2 controllers, but Ocarina of Time isn’t included. That game launches separately on 5 November 2026. The themed Pro Controller and other anniversary accessories are separate purchases too.
Which bundles contain the 90-day Nintendo Switch Online code?
Only the Mario Kart World and Sports Resort packages include a 90-day Individual Nintendo Switch Online code. The Zelda anniversary console has no standard membership code listed. An Individual plan belongs to the account that redeems it, so don’t assume a single code covers a whole family’s separate Nintendo Accounts.
The membership and game download use separate codes. If you already have a standard Individual subscription, the new code can extend it. If you’re covered by a Family membership or use Expansion Pack, the rules are different. Our 90-day Online code guide walks through redemption and automatic renewal.
Nintendo Switch 2 2026 bundles: battery revision
None of these three October holiday bundles has a user-replaceable battery. Nintendo’s UK announcement says so explicitly. Its newer revised Switch 2 hardware is rolling out separately in Europe, so an October launch date doesn’t guarantee that a particular retail box contains the battery revision.
The revised general hardware works the same way, although Nintendo lists small changes to battery capacity and console weight. If future battery replacement is a deciding factor, check the specific model before paying. Choosing Mario Kart World over Zelda won’t solve that problem.
Which Switch 2 holiday package is right for you?

Choose Mario Kart World if racing and Free Roam are what you’ll play first. Sports Resort is the better fit for motion-controlled family games, with twelve activities set around Wuhu Island. Zelda is the collector’s choice if the special design matters more than getting a game included.
When comparing Nintendo Switch 2 2026 bundles, look at the actual UK checkout price, not just the promise of extras. A 90-day Online membership only saves you money if you would use it, and a retailer’s own accessory offer isn’t included in every standard Nintendo package.
The deciding question is simple: do you want Mario Kart World, Sports Resort or the Zelda console design? The Nintendo Switch 2 2026 bundles have different contents, but all three share the same non-user-replaceable-battery warning.
