How to Get Vociferous Speaking Trumpet in Sea of Thieves is a new Season 21 reward tied to Xbox Game Pass rather than an in-game Voyage or Renown milestone. The Vociferous Speaking Trumpet is available as an in-game Game Pass benefit from September 17 through October 31, 2026, giving eligible subscribers several weeks to claim the cosmetic.
The important part of How to Get Vociferous Speaking Trumpet in Sea of Thieves is using the Xbox Game Pass Benefits system with the same Xbox profile connected to Sea of Thieves. It is separate from the Parley Pennant challenge, Microsoft Rewards promotion and September Twitch Drops, so completing those activities will not automatically add the trumpet to your account.

The normal route for How to Get Vociferous Speaking Trumpet in Sea of Thieves is to open Xbox Game Pass Benefits, find the Sea of Thieves in-game benefit and follow the claim steps shown for the Vociferous Speaking Trumpet. Xbox does not describe How to Get Vociferous Speaking Trumpet in Sea of Thieves as a store purchase. Do not spend Ancient Coins looking for it in the Pirate Emporium. The reward is specifically identified as a Game Pass in-game benefit, which is why the claim begins from the Xbox Benefits area.
Where to find Xbox Game Pass Benefits
On an Xbox console, Microsoft says the Benefits button can be opened from Home or from the Xbox Game Pass area. In the Xbox mobile app, use the Benefits button on Home or inside the Game Pass section. On PC, the Xbox app has a Benefits button on the Home or Xbox Game Pass tab.
Those are the places to start if you are working out How to Get Vociferous Speaking Trumpet in Sea of Thieves. The exact redemption screen can vary by device, but the benefit itself should be attached to your Xbox account before you launch the game. Microsoft’s Game Pass in-game benefits page explains the current claim flow.
Which Game Pass plans can claim in-game benefits?
Xbox currently says in-game benefits are available across Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, Essential and PC Game Pass. That makes How to Get Vociferous Speaking Trumpet in Sea of Thieves broader than the old Perks system that players may remember from earlier versions of Game Pass, although availability still depends on the benefit being shown for your account and region.
If the Sea of Thieves benefit is not visible, first confirm that the correct Microsoft account is signed in and that the subscription is active. Do not redeem a random code from a third-party site. This promotion is being distributed through the official Game Pass benefit system.
When the Vociferous Speaking Trumpet offer ends
The claim window for How to Get Vociferous Speaking Trumpet in Sea of Thieves runs from September 17 to October 31, 2026. October 31 is the important deadline for the Game Pass benefit itself. It is much longer than the Talk Like a Pirate Day event that awards the Parley Proficiency Sails, so you do not need to finish both rewards on the same day.
The wider Season 21 launch also includes the Loquacious Figurehead through Microsoft Rewards Ancient Coin offers. That figurehead is not bundled with the Game Pass trumpet, and redeeming one promotion does not replace the other.
What to do if the reward does not appear in game
After completing the Xbox claim, launch Sea of Thieves with the same Xbox profile. If you already had the game open, restart it so the entitlement can refresh. For How to Get Vociferous Speaking Trumpet in Sea of Thieves, the account link matters more than the platform you used to browse the Benefits page.
If the claim is shown as completed but the cosmetic still does not appear after a restart, keep the Xbox benefit confirmation and check the account used in Sea of Thieves before contacting support. That avoids the most common problem of claiming a reward on one Microsoft account and playing on another.
How this reward fits into Season 21
How to Get Vociferous Speaking Trumpet in Sea of Thieves is one of several free or membership-linked cosmetics arriving with Season 21. The season track itself has a different progression route, and the September 2026 Twitch Drops use watch time rather than Game Pass.
Xbox confirms the Vociferous Speaking Trumpet claim window in its Season 21 announcement. As long as the benefit is claimed through Game Pass before October 31 and applied to the correct Sea of Thieves account, no separate in-game challenge is required for How to Get Vociferous Speaking Trumpet in Sea of Thieves.
