Throne and Liberty Crossplay continues after the November 10, 2026 transfer to NC. Players on Steam, NC’s PURPLE launcher, PlayStation and Xbox will be able to play in the same unified environment.
Cross-progression is different: only Steam and PURPLE share progression. Xbox and PlayStation characters remain tied to their respective platforms. Here’s what happens to friends, servers and saves when the publisher changes.
Throne and Liberty Crossplay: Does Crossplay Still Work After November 10?

Yes. NC and Amazon Game Studios have confirmed that the existing crossplay arrangements remain after the service transition. PURPLE players will also join Steam, PlayStation and Xbox in the same overall environment.
Throne and Liberty Crossplay is about participating in the game with other platforms, not moving or merging save data. Players should still check the realm and region used by their friends, because the handover doesn’t put every character on a single universal realm.
Steam and PURPLE Cross-Progression
The official FAQ confirms that Steam and PURPLE support cross-progression. PURPLE is NC’s PC launcher and provides another way to access Throne and Liberty after migration.
Throne and Liberty Crossplay among platforms does not automatically imply that every account can switch launchers with the same character. The cross-progression promise applies to those two PC platforms. Use the published account activation and linking instructions when NC provides the final process.
Can Xbox Transfer Progress to PC?
Xbox progression remains on Xbox. The NC handover preserves your Xbox character, but it doesn’t transfer that character to Steam or PURPLE. PlayStation progression stays separate too.
The new NC-published Xbox app is for continuing your existing Xbox character. Installing it doesn’t turn a console save into a PC save.
Throne and Liberty Crossplay: Does PlayStation Cross-Save With Xbox?
No. PlayStation and Xbox keep separate progression, even while both can play with friends across the supported environment. Switching consoles doesn’t automatically move character levels, equipment, Lucent or achievements from the first console.
Throne and Liberty Crossplay lets different-platform players take part together under the existing rules, but your character data remains attached to the platform progression system described by the publisher.
What Happens to Servers and Regions?

Existing Americas, Europe and Japan/Oceania regions and their realms continue. NC will rename the Japan and Oceania region to Asia and Oceania. The change of publisher doesn’t require every Western player to choose a new realm.
Players can still use existing region transfers before the handover under the game’s current rules. NC plans to provide its policy for region and realm transfers once the new operation begins, so do not confuse region transfer with cross-progression.
Throne and Liberty Crossplay: Do You Need a New Account to Play With Friends?
Your existing Steam, PlayStation and Xbox platform accounts remain valid. The normal migration automatically carries character data over, unless you opt out. After maintenance, accept NC’s Terms and Policies and complete any required activation steps.
For Xbox, install the new NC app after transition. For Steam, continue using Steam; PURPLE is also available. Throne and Liberty Crossplay remains available across the supported platform combination even though you will not share one save between all of them.
What Changes for Guilds and Friend Lists?
Guild data and membership are retained except for players who deliberately opt out, who are removed. Friends, Feuds and Interests lists survive migration, while the Blocked list resets. An opted-out guild leader can trigger automatic leadership succession.
The Throne and Liberty Crossplay experience should therefore remain familiar to existing groups. The useful action is to coordinate platform access after maintenance and ensure members do not mistakenly opt out believing it is required to save progress.
