Throne and Liberty Opt-Out Deadline is October 30, 2026. It is the deadline for players who do not want their account data moved from Amazon Game Studios to NC. Everyone who wants to keep their character should simply allow the automatic migration.

Throne and Liberty Opt-Out Deadline: Is October 30 a Deadline to Keep Your Account?
No. October 30 is not the last day to register for migration or link an account to save progress. The default choice is to transfer automatically during November 10 maintenance. The Throne and Liberty Opt-Out Deadline matters only if you want to prevent that transfer.
Players who do nothing keep their data in the planned migration. Once NC’s operation begins, they accept NC’s Terms and Policies and complete any necessary activation steps. There is no opt-in form required for normal service continuity.
What Happens If You Opt Out?
Your existing characters, inventory, achievements, game progression and associated account data will not be transferred. You cannot then log in under NC and resume that same character. Choosing to play after opting out means starting fresh.
Opting out removes your character from its guild. If the guild leader opts out, leadership passes to the next eligible member. A guild whose entire membership leaves will be disbanded.
How to Request an Opt-Out
The publisher provides a dedicated official opt-out request through its support portal. For that optional process, you need an active Amazon Games ID and to link the platform account to it. These account-linking steps are for opting out, not for players accepting automatic transfer.
Double-check the platform account you’ve linked before submitting the form. You’re choosing to prevent its data from transferring, not applying to keep it.
Throne and Liberty Opt-Out Deadline: Is the Deadline October 30 or Before October 30?
The October 8 notice states that requests must be submitted ‘before October 30’, while its FAQ names October 30 as the deadline. Neither section specifies an exact hour or time zone for the cutoff. Players intending to opt out should not assume they have the entire day.
If you’re choosing to opt out today, use the official support form promptly rather than assuming it stays open until midnight. Everyone keeping their character can leave it alone.
What Carries Over if You Do Nothing?
The Throne and Liberty Opt-Out Deadline does not affect accounts that use the normal transfer. Characters, levels, inventory, equipment, entitlements and currencies carry over, including Lucent, Sollant, Ornate Coins and Loyalty Points.
Friends, Feuds and Interests lists also remain, but the Blocked list is reset. Mail and its attachments are preserved, while unclaimed Storage Chest rewards are automatically moved to the mailbox. Xbox players need the new NC app after maintenance, without losing the account data.
Throne and Liberty Opt-Out Deadline: When Is the NC Migration?
Migration maintenance begins November 10, 2026. Servers will be unavailable while the data moves to NC. Watch the official maintenance announcement for the start and finish times, then sign in and accept NC’s new terms.
Steam, Xbox and PlayStation accounts stay in place. The new PURPLE launcher supports cross-progression with Steam, while console progression remains separate. This system update is unrelated to the Throne and Liberty Opt-Out Deadline.
What Should Players Do Today?
If you want your progress saved, do not opt out. There is no deadline today for approving the normal migration. Keep an eye on official maintenance announcements and note any recent interface changes that might reset on November 10.
If you deliberately do not want NC to receive your gameplay data, use the official opt-out process without delaying. The Throne and Liberty Opt-Out Deadline is a choice about transferring data, and the publisher is clear that opting out prevents the character and inventory from carrying over.
