Throne and Liberty settings reset affects changes made from Update 4.18.0 on October 26 until the November 10, 2026 NC maintenance. HUD, chat tabs, Ring Menu, combat preferences and favourites changed during that period are due to revert.
Skill and Equipment Presets are explicitly excluded from this reset. The easiest preparation is to screenshot the interface changes you want to keep, so you can restore them after the transfer.
Throne and Liberty Settings Reset: Which Settings Will Reset?

Update 4.18.0 names changes in the general Settings menu, newly created or edited chat tabs, HUD layout, Ring Menu options and Combat Settings. This is a planned configuration reset during service preparation, not a loss of character progress.
The affected period runs from Update 4.18.0 on October 26 until the November 10 handover. Screenshot the menus you’ve changed so you can restore your preferred setup afterwards.
Throne and Liberty settings reset: favourites and filters
Favorites throughout the game are included: Quests, the Auction House, Morphs, Crafting, Runes and Artifacts. The patch also lists Storage Quick Deposit settings, Artifact Search Criteria presets and Map Icon Filter settings.
Check saved favourites, storage deposit rules and artifact-search filters as well as the HUD. Those shortcuts can be more tedious to rebuild than the main interface.
Which presets are preserved?
The publisher explicitly excludes content-specific Presets, including Skill and Equipment Presets, from the listed reset. That means the October 26-to-November 10 settings-warning period does not include those saved combinations.
The separate November 10 Skill Core overhaul adds Skill Core Presets. Existing Skill and Equipment Presets remain excluded from the October 26 settings-reset notice.
Throne and Liberty Settings Reset: Do Characters and Currency Reset Too?
No. The normal NC migration preserves characters, inventory, progression, entitlements and currency. Existing Lucent, Sollant, Loyalty Points and Ornate Coins move to NC automatically, unless the player deliberately opts out of data transfer.
The Throne and Liberty Settings Reset is about certain interface and preference changes, not a character wipe. You don’t need to sell equipment or spend Lucent to protect them. You also shouldn’t opt out to keep progress; opting out prevents your account from transferring.
Throne and Liberty settings reset: screenshot checklist before November 10

Open the Settings menu and screenshot the pages you have changed. Save these details as a reference:
- Interface: HUD positions, Ring Menu, chat tabs and recent Settings changes.
- Combat: Combat Settings and inputs you customised.
- Favourites: Quests, Auction House, Morphs, Crafting, Runes and Artifacts.
- Storage and filters: Storage Quick Deposit, Artifact Search Criteria and Map Icon Filters.
Keep the screenshots somewhere you can view them while restoring the layout after maintenance. Your existing Skill and Equipment Presets do not need rebuilding because of this settings reset.
For the Throne and Liberty settings reset, screenshots are easier to work from than memory. You can also make a note of which Quests, Morphs, Runes and Artifacts you’ve marked as favourites and how Storage Quick Deposit is configured.
Throne and Liberty Settings Reset: How to Restore Everything After Migration
Once NC’s operation is live and you’ve downloaded the required update, sign in with your usual platform account and accept NC’s terms. Open the affected menus and compare them with your screenshots before entering difficult combat.
Recreate any changed chat tabs, HUD positions, Ring Menu options, favourites and filters. The Throne and Liberty Settings Reset checklist should be done before you queue for encounters where an unexpected hotkey or interface change could interfere with your usual play.
What Else Changes on November 10?
The service handover requires maintenance and may involve a new Xbox application. Friends, Feuds and Interests lists are retained, while the Blocked list resets separately under the migration FAQ. That Blocked list change is not part of the October 26 settings-warning list.
The Throne and Liberty Settings Reset is one preparation step for transferring service to NC. When the game returns, check account details, item storage and mailbox too, especially if you had Auction House listings or unclaimed rewards before the closure.
