Witchbrook Characters include seven named romance candidates revealed before the January 28, 2027 launch: Hana Satō, Eli Ivers, Cormac Fitzroy, Pip Marin, Evadne Gladwin, Leif Blomgren and Kiara Chandra. Chucklefish says the completed game has 11 romanceable covenmates, leaving four yet to be introduced.

The seven Witchbrook Characters above have official profiles. Their birthdays use in-game seasons, not the real calendar. Their home addresses don’t establish where they’ll be standing during the day.
Who is Kiara Chandra in Witchbrook?
Kiara is the newest named covenmate, revealed in Chucklefish’s October 27 release announcement. She’s described as sharp, sardonic and intelligent, a postgraduate with an aptitude for the Arcane Arts and a pragmatic attitude towards supernatural problems.
Among the confirmed Witchbrook Characters, Kiara has an official home at 2 Casterwick Avenue and a birthday on Autumn 15. Her story, gift preferences and dating conditions have not been released in full. Her reveal does not confirm a particular starting friendship level or an exclusive romance path.
How many romanceable Witchbrook characters are there?
Chucklefish confirmed 11 romance options in its September Dating on Campus blog. Seven have names and public profiles; four covenmate slots are still hidden on the official website. Do not treat other NPCs, such as professors and merchants, as confirmed romance choices without a separate announcement.
Players can build friendship with covenmates even if they don’t want to date them. Every candidate has a story arc, and Chucklefish says it’s possible to progress those stories without starting a romantic relationship.
The Witchbrook Characters also respond to daily routines, the weather, time of day and what’s happening around them. More than 200 date-chatter locations are planned in Mossport, so spending time together involves exploring rather than only handing out items.
Which professors and other NPCs are confirmed?
Professor Carlyle is your coven leader and teaches you spells after exams. Professor Wixx is a potions scholar and college professor. The ghostly Chancellor, nicknamed the Deadmaster by students, appeared in the October 2026 release-date trailer.
Among the non-covenmate Witchbrook Characters, Fable is your talkative cottage familiar and business partner. Justin is a furniture seller at Harbour Home; his daughter Violet helps run the business. Wren is a gardener connected to Wild Flower, a source of plants and decorations.
The unnamed college staff and townspeople on the site are separate from the four unrevealed romance candidates. They’re not automatically dateable.
How do you befriend and romance Witchbrook characters?
Friendships grow as you talk to characters, spend time with them, give and receive gifts, and help with personal stories. Romance adds cards available through Mossport’s post office, dates at chosen locations and eventually a going steady card when a relationship develops.
According to the developer, different Witchbrook Characters become available for dating at different points in their stories. Chucklefish has not released a universal romance-point threshold, a list of best gifts or every character’s preferred date activities. Can friends date the same Witchbrook character in multiplayer?
Yes, the September development blog says players can each pursue a covenmate in online co-op, and two friends may both be interested in the same person until somebody becomes exclusive. The multiplayer mode supports up to four people, but the studio hasn’t revealed every rule governing rivalry or changing relationships.
