Witchbrook Release Date is Thursday, January 28, 2027. Chucklefish confirmed the date alongside a new trailer on October 27, with PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S all scheduled for January 28. That doesn’t mean the download unlocks at exactly the same hour on every storefront.

The Witchbrook Release Date applies to all six platform families, not just PC and Switch. PS5 was the notable addition in the October announcement. The developer has not announced a PlayStation 4 edition, and the two Nintendo consoles currently have their own storefront listings.
Witchbrook Release Date: What is the UK unlock time?
For the UK, the officially announced Witchbrook Release Date is January 28, but Chucklefish has not published a single simultaneous unlock hour for every system. You shouldn’t assume a midnight UK launch just because the store lists a calendar date.
The US PlayStation Store currently lists 12:00 UTC on January 28, equivalent to 12 noon GMT in the UK. That only establishes the PlayStation listing, not the Steam, Xbox or Nintendo unlock times. Check the relevant store’s countdown near launch.
How much will Witchbrook cost in the UK?
Chucklefish confirmed a $24.99 US digital launch price. It said UK, European and other regional prices would be announced closer to release. There is no verified £ price to quote yet, and converting US dollars into pounds would not establish the official UK store price.
The Witchbrook Release Date announcement also confirms ten supported languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. The official announcement doesn’t divide those languages into full voice acting versus text localisation.
Is Witchbrook coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one?
Yes. The publisher’s October 28 press announcement says Witchbrook will be included in Xbox Game Pass from January 28, 2027. Game Pass provides access through an eligible subscription, not a permanent free copy. Check the Xbox store for the applicable plan before subscribing.
If you’re comparing buying outright with playing on subscription, the Witchbrook Release Date is the same announced day for both. Chucklefish has not announced any early-access edition or paid head start, so don’t treat a retailer’s estimated launch hour as a special edition perk.
When are Witchbrook physical and Collector’s Editions coming?
A physical Standard Edition and a physical Collector’s Edition are planned, but both are due after the January 28 digital launch. Chucklefish says releasing them later will avoid holding up the game. It has not yet confirmed their price, platform formats, contents or specific release dates.

What will you actually do in Witchbrook?
You arrive as a witch-in-training at Witchbrook College in the seaside town of Mossport. The developer has confirmed classes in Alchemy, Astrology, Tarot and Rituals; exams and knowledge progression; spells and potion-making; witch businesses; fishing, gardening and social activities; and a woodland cottage you can renovate.
The Witchbrook Release Date trailer also introduces the ghostly Chancellor, nicknamed the Deadmaster, and covenmate Kiara Chandra. You can play alone or invite up to three friends for online co-op. Cross-platform multiplayer has not been confirmed, so online co-op shouldn’t automatically be described as crossplay.
Chucklefish and co-developer Robotality have now given the Witchbrook Release Date a firm day after targeting 2026. There is still no confirmed early-access edition or paid head start. For players planning a platform purchase, the confirmed date, US price and supported systems are settled; regional pricing, exact launch hours, physical edition details and crossplay are still awaiting specific announcements.
