Rayman Legends Retold costumes confirmed so far include four Deluxe Edition Retro Pack outfits, two preorder Hoodlum Havoc outfits and a free Astro Bot outfit on PS5. Ubisoft has named all four Retro costumes and identified which characters receive the preorder looks.
The game launches on 3 December 2026 and includes a costume shop run by Victor Velour. The shop has been repositioned to make it easier for local co-op groups to browse together. Below are the announced costume packs, their characters and the exact unlock method for Astro Bot.
All confirmed Rayman Legends Retold costumes in the Retro Pack
The Rayman Legends Retold costumes announced for the Retro Pack are Classic Rayman Outfit for Rayman, Betilla the Fairy Outfit for Barbara, Retro Hunter Outfit for Globox and Electoon Teensie Outfit for Grand Minimus. Ubisoft names those four designs in its edition breakdown.
The Retro Pack comes with the £44.99 Deluxe Edition, alongside an Art Gallery. Ubisoft also lists a Deluxe Upgrade Pack with those extras, so Standard Edition owners have an upgrade option. The £34.99 Standard Edition still includes both Rayman Legends Retold and Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition.
How to unlock the free Astro Bot costume
For Rayman Legends Retold costumes on PS5, the Astro Bot outfit is the easiest confirmed unlock. Visit Victor Velour’s costume shop for the first time and the crossover outfit is free. Ubisoft explicitly says no costume purchase is needed. You don’t have to own Astro Bot or complete a challenge in Sony’s platformer to receive it.
The Astro Bot design is unique to the PlayStation 5 edition. It gives Rayman Astro’s white-and-blue robot look while retaining his floating gloves and shoes. For the free first-visit details, see our Astro Bot costume unlock guide.
Hoodlum Havoc preorder costumes for Rayman and Globox
Another two Rayman Legends Retold costumes come through the Hoodlum Havoc Pack, a preorder bonus included with any edition. One outfit is for Rayman and another for Globox, with designs inspired by Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc. Ubisoft advertises this as a preorder incentive rather than part of the four-costume Retro Pack.
The Hoodlum Havoc Pack is a preorder reward for any edition, including Standard. Its two Rayman 3-inspired costumes belong to Rayman and Globox. The four Retro Pack designs are a different Deluxe bonus.
To match the Retro Pack designs to characters: Rayman wears Classic Rayman, Barbara wears Betilla the Fairy, Globox wears Retro Hunter, and Grand Minimus wears Electoon Teensie. There isn’t a fifth costume in this four-outfit pack.
How does Victor Velour’s costume shop work?
The Rayman Legends Retold costumes shown in Ubisoft’s editions list are tied to the purchase or preorder pack. The Astro Bot outfit is different: it becomes free on your first visit to Victor Velour’s shop in the PS5 game.
Victor Velour runs the in-game wardrobe. Ubisoft moved the shop within the redesigned hub to make it easier for couch co-op groups to browse together. See our local co-op guide for playing with up to four people.
Which edition has each costume?
When comparing Rayman Legends Retold costumes across editions, remember that the Standard Edition already includes Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition. The Deluxe price difference buys the four Retro Pack outfits and the gallery, not the second game. Our UK prices and editions guide covers every package.
So the confirmed Rayman Legends Retold costumes break down as four Retro Pack designs, two Hoodlum Havoc preorder designs and the free PS5 Astro Bot costume. If you’re mainly interested in that last one, the standard PS5 game is enough. Our PS5 exclusive content guide covers the other PlayStation features.
