The Rayman Legends Retold release date is Thursday, 3 December 2026. Ubisoft has confirmed the new launch for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The UK Standard Edition costs £34.99 and Deluxe costs £44.99, with both editions including Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition.
The Rayman Legends Retold release date moved from the original 1 October announcement to 3 December 2026. Some older store listings still show September or October, but Ubisoft’s current game page and UK store display the December release.
When is the Rayman Legends Retold release date in the UK?
Ubisoft lists Thursday, 3 December as the confirmed UK launch day. A revised digital unlock hour has not been published, so don’t use the timestamp from the older PlayStation Store listing as a December countdown.
The Rayman Legends Retold release date covers PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. PC distribution includes Ubisoft Connect, Steam and Epic Games Store. Ubisoft additionally lists GeForce Now and Blacknut cloud services. PS4, Xbox One and the original Nintendo Switch aren’t part of the announced platform list.
Rayman Legends Retold platforms and PS5 features
On PlayStation, the game supports PS5 and PS5 Pro, with the Store listing PS5 Pro enhancements. Rayman’s exclusive Astro Bot outfit is a PlayStation bonus; the main campaign, newly designed areas and four-player couch co-op are not PS5 exclusives. Our PS5 exclusive content guide covers the crossover.
How much does Rayman Legends Retold cost in the UK?
The Rayman Legends Retold release date applies to two digital editions: £34.99 Standard, with Rayman Legends Retold and Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition, and £44.99 Deluxe, adding four Retro Pack costumes and an Art Gallery. Both editions contain the two games.
Preordering either edition adds the Hoodlum Havoc Pack, with Rayman and Globox costumes inspired by Rayman 3. Ubisoft also describes a boxed Launch Edition containing the base package, a printed Glade of Dreams map, three lithographs and a slipcase. Those physical extras are separate from the Deluxe Edition’s digital Retro Pack.
What new content is in Rayman Legends Retold?
The Rayman Legends Retold release date also introduces a major overhaul of the original 2013 platformer. The adventure retains Rayman, Globox, Barbara, Grand Minimus and Murphy, but adds a new villain, voiced cinematics, upgraded 3D presentation, an additional sixth realm, dragon rides and four new musical stages. Returning levels remain part of the experience.
Up to four people can play the full adventure together in local couch co-op. Kung Foot Evo returns with customisable rules and power-ups. Ubisoft has confirmed shared-screen local play rather than describing the story campaign as online co-op. Our local co-op guide explains the supported player count and console setup.
Rayman Legends Retold PC requirements
For PC players, the Rayman Legends Retold release date is paired with published hardware requirements. The minimum asks for 8 GB RAM, a GTX 1660 or equivalent GPU, and 33 GB on an SSD. Ubisoft’s recommended configuration increases RAM to 16 GB and targets 1080p/60 FPS at High settings with upscaling.
Both editions include the Retold adventure and Origins Enhanced Edition. The £10 Deluxe upgrade buys the four Retro Pack outfits and Art Gallery, not another playable campaign. On PS5, the Astro Bot costume is free in either edition.
Our remake or remaster guide covers the updated stages and story, while the costume breakdown lists the Retro Pack and Hoodlum Havoc outfits.
