Rayman Legends Retold Astro Bot costume is a free PS5-exclusive outfit available when players visit Victor Velour’s costume shop for the first time. Ubisoft confirmed the unlock in its October 28 announcement. The game launches on December 3, 2026, and there is no extra payment or separate Astro Bot challenge required.
Rayman appeared in Astro Bot in 2024, and now he’s borrowing the little robot’s look in return. The Rayman Legends Retold Astro Bot costume is available in the standard PS5 game as well as the Deluxe Edition, so you don’t need to spend more than the price of the base game to wear it.
How to unlock the Rayman Legends Retold Astro Bot costume
To unlock the Rayman Legends Retold Astro Bot costume, use the PS5 version. The costume is made available by visiting Victor Velour, Rayman’s tailor, at his costume shop for the first time. The shop visit is the unlock condition.

- Launch Rayman Legends Retold on PS5 or PS5 Pro from 3 December.
- Play through the adventure until you can visit Victor Velour’s costume shop.
- Visit the shop for the first time to find the free Astro Bot outfit.
- Select the costume from the shop’s available outfits.
The announcement doesn’t tie the reward to a boss fight, a Lum price or a separate Astro Bot challenge. It’s a costume-shop reward.
Is the Rayman Legends Retold Astro Bot costume free?
The Rayman Legends Retold Astro Bot costume doesn’t cost real money. Ubisoft describes it as a free PS5 outfit unlocked on your first visit to the shop. It is separate from the paid Retro Pack that comes with the £44.99 Deluxe Edition and separate from the Hoodlum Havoc Pack included with preorders.
The £34.99 Standard Edition includes the Rayman Legends Retold Astro Bot costume on PS5. Deluxe is not required. The free outfit is separate from the four paid Retro Pack costumes and the two Hoodlum Havoc preorder costumes.
Which platforms include the Astro Bot costume?
The Rayman Legends Retold Astro Bot costume is exclusive to the PS5 family. Rayman Legends Retold also launches on Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC, but those versions have not been announced as receiving Astro’s outfit. It’s the costume that’s exclusive, not the core game or its campaign.
If you’re comparing platforms, the regular adventure still includes returning and new stages, a sixth realm, four new musical levels and four-player local co-op. PS5 has the named Astro Bot clothing bonus, while all versions share the main reimagined platforming experience described by Ubisoft.
What does Rayman look like wearing Astro Bot?
The Rayman Legends Retold Astro Bot costume adapts Astro’s familiar white body, blue lights and metallic details to Rayman’s floating hands, feet and distinctive silhouette. Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan worked with Team Asobi, the studio behind Astro Bot, on the design.

The crossover changes Rayman’s appearance to Astro’s shiny white-and-blue design. It’s still Rayman, with his usual silhouette and platforming moves. The collaboration was created by Ubisoft Montpellier, Ubisoft Milan and Team Asobi.
When can you claim the Astro Bot costume?
The Rayman Legends Retold Astro Bot costume becomes available inside the game when you reach Victor Velour’s shop after launch. The game releases on 3 December; preordering alone doesn’t put the costume into your PlayStation wardrobe early.
