The Ocarina of Time Switch 2 Gold Skulltula rewards unlock at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 100 tokens. Collect the tokens, then speak to the cursed family at the House of Skulltula in Kakariko Village. The remake has bigger wallets, the new Echo Gem detector and a larger Bombchu reward than the original game.
There are 100 Gold Skulltulas to find. Defeat each spider and pick up its token before moving on. Here are the six milestones and exactly what you receive.
All Ocarina of Time Switch 2 Gold Skulltula rewards

| Tokens collected | Reward | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | Adult Wallet | Raises Rupee capacity to 500. |
| 20 | Echo Gem | Signals nearby Gold Skulltulas using light and other feedback. |
| 30 | Giant’s Wallet | Raises Rupee capacity to 1,000. |
| 40 | 20 Bombchus | Adds a pack of 20 crawling explosives. |
| 50 | Piece of Heart | One heart piece, not an entire Heart Container. |
| 100 | Gold Rupee | Worth 200 Rupees. The final family reward can be claimed repeatedly. |
Those are the six Ocarina of Time Switch 2 Gold Skulltula rewards. Old Nintendo 64 lists are outdated here: the 20-token item is no longer the Stone of Agony, wallet capacities have increased, and 40 tokens now gets you 20 Bombchus.
Where to claim Ocarina of Time Switch 2 Gold Skulltula rewards
Visit the House of Skulltula in southern Kakariko Village. The family there is cursed, and collecting tokens gradually frees them. Speak to the family as you reach each milestone. The spiders themselves drop tokens, not the final milestone prizes.
Already collected enough tokens for a reward? Head back to the house and talk to the family. Your total is based on tokens picked up, not simply how many spiders you’ve hit.
What is the Echo Gem at 20 tokens?
The Echo Gem is your reward at 20 tokens. After claiming it, equip it to detect nearby Gold Skulltulas. It lights up and vibrates as you approach one, while the remake’s item description also mentions sound.
It replaces the Stone or Shard of Agony from earlier editions. The Echo Gem won’t pin every remaining spider on your map. Follow the signal, then search the nearby walls, trees and hidden spaces.

Ocarina of Time Switch 2 Gold Skulltula rewards: Wallet upgrades
Yes. At 10 Gold Skulltula tokens, the Adult Wallet holds 500 Rupees. At 30 tokens, the Giant’s Wallet holds 1,000 Rupees. Those are the capacities listed for the Switch 2 version, so don’t copy the 200 and 500 Rupee figures from an older Nintendo 64 walkthrough.
Both wallet upgrades are worth collecting early. The Adult Wallet raises your limit to 500 Rupees at 10 tokens, while the Giant’s Wallet increases it to 1,000 at 30.
Ocarina of Time Switch 2 Gold Skulltula rewards at 40, 50 and 100 tokens
At 40 tokens, you get 20 Bombchus. At 50 tokens, the prize is a Piece of Heart, which contributes to raising Link’s health when combined with other heart pieces. At 100 tokens, the family rewards a Gold Rupee worth 200 Rupees.
Once you have all 100 tokens, the Gold Rupee worth 200 Rupees can be claimed again from the family. There aren’t more than 100 hidden tokens. The final Ocarina of Time Switch 2 Gold Skulltula rewards milestone simply gives you a repeatable payout.
How to collect all Ocarina of Time Switch 2 Gold Skulltula rewards
Some spiders appear only at night or during one of Link’s two eras. For example, the Gold Skulltula on Kakariko’s watchtower ladder appears at night, while the Great Deku Tree has several available to young Link. Revisiting areas is part of collecting every Ocarina of Time Switch 2 Gold Skulltula rewards milestone.
Some tokens need particular equipment, such as the Boomerang or Hookshot. Others involve planting a Magic Bean as young Link, then returning as adult Link once it has grown.
Do Skulltula tokens count automatically after defeating the spider?
No. You need to pick up the token after defeating each spider. Some hang high on walls or ceilings, so check that the token has been collected before you leave the area.
The Echo Gem is the most helpful early prize if you’re planning to collect all 100. Get it at 20 tokens, equip it and use the proximity signals to track down spiders you’ve missed.
