The Overwatch November 3 patch notes deliver a sizeable balance update for tanks, damage heroes and supports. Brigitte gets better Inspire healing, Doctrine’s healing and damage drop, and D.Mon loses Propulsors impact damage. Junker Queen and Mauga also receive buffs, while Stadium has a separate set of changes.

Released on November 3, 2026, the patch comes during Season 5: A Grim Doctrine. If something feels different in Quick Play or Competitive, the live hero changes are the place to start. Stadium powers are listed separately below because they don’t apply to the usual hero kits.

BrigitteInspire internal cooldown 1.25 to 1 second; instant healing 12 to 15
DoctrineInfused damage 90 to 80; Infused healing 120 to 110; longer cooldowns
D.MonPropulsors impact damage 15 to 0; Power Barrier recovery increased
Junker QueenHealth 375 to 425; Carnage cooldown 9 to 7 seconds
AnaBiotic Grenade damage 90 to 60
Jetpack CatBase health 225 to 200

Those are headline examples, not the entire patch. Blizzard also adjusted Mauga, Ramattra, Winston, several damage heroes and Stadium powers. The Overwatch November 3 patch notes are particularly worth reading if you play Brigitte or Doctrine, because their healing numbers change how they handle prolonged fights.

Brigitte Inspire buffs

In the Overwatch November 3 patch notes, Brigitte’s Inspire internal cooldown falls from 1.25 seconds to 1 second, while its instant healing increases from 12 to 15. More frequent triggers and a stronger immediate heal improve her ability to sustain teammates in an ongoing fight.

These are healing buffs, not a full rework of Brigitte’s abilities. They apply to the live hero balance section of the Overwatch November 3 patch notes, rather than a Stadium-only power.

Doctrine nerfs and cooldown changes

The Overwatch November 3 patch notes also confirm that Doctrine’s Eternal Sceptre primary-fire recovery rises from 0.6 to 0.65 seconds. Its Infused damage drops from 90 to 80, and Infused healing from 120 to 110. Blizzard wants to reduce his overall output while preserving his utility.

Shrouded Momentum’s cooldown increases from 8 to 10 seconds. Infuse goes from 8 to 9 seconds. They are separate abilities with different cooldowns, so don’t confuse the numbers. Doctrine can still heal and pressure enemies, but his strongest tools are less readily available.

D.Mon balance adjustments

D.Mon loses the 15 impact damage previously dealt by Propulsors, although its knockback remains. Power Barrier recovery increases from 0.2 to 0.3 seconds, and the barrier now has a minimum deployment duration of 0.25 seconds. Blizzard also reduces Overstrike’s lifesteal from 150% to 125%.

That means D.Mon needs to commit a little more to defensive timing, and Propulsors no longer provides that extra hit of contact damage. The Overwatch November 3 patch notes also fix an unintended Propulsors speed difference between airborne and ground use.

Junker Queen, Mauga and other tank changes

Junker Queen’s base health rises from 375 to 425, and Carnage cooldown falls from 9 to 7 seconds. Mauga’s armour increases from 125 to 150, and his burn damage over time increases from 15 to 20. Those changes give both tanks more staying power or pressure.

Ramattra and Winston also received adjustments, while the live patch includes several damage hero changes. Rather than treating every tweak as an enormous rework, check the official values for the hero you actually play and test how they feel in normal matches.

Ana, Illari, Jetpack Cat and Sombra

Ana’s Biotic Grenade explosion damage decreases from 90 to 60, separating its offensive impact from the stronger self-healing added earlier. Illari’s Solar Rifle charge time decreases from 0.65 to 0.575 seconds, and Healing Pylon heals 50 rather than 40 per projectile.

Jetpack Cat loses 25 base health, dropping from 225 to 200. Frenetic Flight accelerates faster but regenerates fuel more slowly. Sombra’s Hotfix duration drops from 12 to 10 seconds, Cyberspace’s Weaken effect falls from 50% to 40%, and EMP now overrides hostile effects on health packs.

These support changes are part of the Overwatch November 3 patch notes for ordinary play. They should not be mixed up with the Stadium section’s item and power balance.

What changed in Stadium?

The Overwatch November 3 patch notes list separate Stadium powers for Winston, Cassidy, Genji, Sojourn and Vendetta powers. Winston’s Tesla Field power now deals 30 damage each second rather than 40. Cassidy’s Silver Bullet goes from 50 to 60 damage. Genji’s Wyrm’s Maw gains more Swift Strike damage per stack.

These power names and values belong to Stadium mode. They do not mean Winston’s standard Tesla Cannon or Genji’s standard Swift Strike received those identical changes in Quick Play. The patch also addresses Stadium bugs involving Vendetta’s Scaled Steel and D.Va’s El’Saka Suppressor.

What bugs were fixed?

Blizzard fixed a Propulsors movement exploit for D.Mon, a payload collision problem for Mizuki on Circuit Royale and an unintended Wrecking Ball Grappling Claw speed interaction. There are also fixes for skin audio, health-bar display issues, Eichenwalde sightlines and a stuck location on Watchpoint: Gibraltar.

When troubleshooting a match, check whether the issue appears in the live hero section, a mode-specific Stadium note or the bug-fix list. The Overwatch November 3 patch notes distinguish these categories for a reason.

What events arrived with the update?

Taking Reign and Excavation Initiative began November 3, with rewards that are separate from this balance patch. EVE Protocol also brought crossover cosmetics. Junkrat’s Loot Hunt is scheduled later in November, although Blizzard’s midcycle story and patch notes disagree on whether it begins November 19 or 20.

If you are looking for cosmetics, the relevant event guides below cover their rewards and dates. If you’re looking for hero balance, the figures above describe the November 3 live patch rather than speculation about future buffs.
