Recommended Characters

Xiphos’ Moonlight is a great weapon for characters who rely heavily on Elemental Reactions to deal substantial damage while also providing some battery support for the party through the sword’s passive.

For 5-star characters, we highly recommend Xiphos’ Moonlight for Kazuha as this weapon can provide him with the Elemental Mastery (EM) and Energy Recharge (ER) that he both needs.

On the other hand, this can be a good option for Nilou if you don’t have her signature weapon Key of Khaj-Nisut. Just like Kazuha, the new 5-star Hydro character needs decent EM to maximize her Bloom damage and ER for her Burst that has an energy cost of 70. If you want to maximize Nilou‘s potential, check out the Nilou Build Guide here.

With this weapon’s EM and ER boost in mind, it is also a good option for the Dendro Traveler.

For 4-star characters, Xiphos’ Moonlight is an excellent option for solving Xingqiu‘s ER problems while also giving him some damage. To maximize the EM bonus stat from this sword, however, he needs to be in a team other than the Freeze team. To recall, the Frozen Elemental Reaction deals no damage by itself and, therefore, doesn’t require EM.

Lastly, we also recommend that you equip this weapon to Kuki Shinobu. She works really well as an off-field Sub DPS/healer. With the arrival of new Dendro Elemental Reactions in Version 3.0, she is a great component for Hyperbloom Teams.
