The Fortnite Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite is one of four new Cheat Master variants arriving in Chapter 7 Season 4 on August 27, 2026. It will release alongside Cheat Master Shadow, Jackrabbit and Klombo, adding another special variant to the growing Override Sprite collection.

When is the Fortnite Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite coming out?
The Fortnite Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite release date is August 27, 2026.
Killswitch is part of the same Cheat Master batch as Shadow, Jackrabbit and Klombo, with all four variants scheduled to join the Chapter 7 Season 4 collection together.
That means players who can already see the missing Cheat Master Killswitch entry in their Sprite collection have not overlooked a hidden unlock. The variant simply has not gone live yet.
How to get Fortnite Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite
There is currently no confirmed method for getting the Fortnite Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite before August 27.
Chapter 7 Season 4 uses several different methods for unlocking Cheat Master variants. Some are available through Lobby Hack codes in the Admin Panel, while others use Sprite Mastery or separate seasonal requirements.
Epic has not yet announced whether Cheat Master Killswitch will receive its own Lobby Hack code or become available through the normal Cheat Code and Sprite system when the August 27 rollout begins.
For now, there is no legitimate code, location or quest that unlocks the Fortnite Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite early.
Is Cheat Master Killswitch available now?
No. The Fortnite Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite is not currently available.
The August 27 batch has been identified ahead of release, but the four new Cheat Master variants remain upcoming rather than active.
If you are opening Cheat Codes, searching Sprite locations or trading with other players before August 27, you should not expect to find Cheat Master Killswitch.
That also means there is no reason to repeatedly spend Sprite Dust or search specific locations trying to force the variant to appear before its scheduled release.
What does the Killswitch Sprite do in Fortnite?
The standard Killswitch Sprite improves your accuracy while you are in Hangtime.
Epic describes its effect as allowing you to enter Hangtime with improved accuracy, giving the Sprite a combat-focused ability rather than the movement, loot or utility effects offered by many of the other Chapter 7 Season 4 Sprites.
That makes Killswitch particularly useful for players who like fighting while airborne or using movement mechanics that keep them off the ground.
The Fortnite Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite is a special variant of the same Sprite and adds the Cheat Master effect used throughout Override.
What does Cheat Master Killswitch do?
Cheat Master Sprites make Chapter 7 Season 4’s Cheat Codes much easier to complete.
Normally, interacting with a Cheat Code requires you to enter the directional sequence shown on screen. When you have a Cheat Master Sprite, incorrect directional inputs are treated as correct.
That means the Fortnite Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite combines Killswitch’s combat-focused identity with the Cheat Master bonus while you are searching for and opening Cheat Codes.
For players actively hunting new Sprites, that extra effect can make repeated Cheat Code runs much quicker.
Do you need to master Killswitch first?
There is currently no confirmed requirement to master the regular Killswitch Sprite before getting the Fortnite Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite.
Cheat Master variants do not all use the same unlock method. Some have been obtained through Lobby Hack codes, while the Cheat Master Crown Sprite is linked to Sprite Mastery.
Epic has not said that Killswitch will require Level 5 mastery or any other specific Killswitch level.
Until the August 27 release activates, players should not assume that levelling the standard Killswitch Sprite is mandatory for obtaining the new variant.
Is there a Cheat Master Killswitch code?
There is no confirmed Fortnite Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite code currently active.
The Admin Panel already supports several Lobby Hacks that directly unlock Cheat Master Sprites, so a Killswitch code is certainly possible. However, no official or reliably confirmed code has been released for this variant yet.
Any code claiming to unlock Cheat Master Killswitch before August 27 should therefore be treated cautiously.
Once the variant goes live, its actual unlock method should quickly become clear.
Why is the Fortnite Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite useful?
Killswitch already has one of the more combat-oriented Sprite abilities in Override.
While Sprites such as Klombo focus on items and Jackrabbit focuses on mobility, Killswitch directly improves accuracy during Hangtime.
The Fortnite Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite then adds the Cheat Master effect on top of that identity, making it potentially useful both during fights and while hunting additional Sprites.
That gives the variant more practical value than simply being another cosmetic collection entry.
What other Cheat Master Sprites release on August 27?
The Fortnite Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite is one of four variants coming in the August 27 batch.
| Cheat Master Sprite | Release date |
|---|---|
| Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite | August 27, 2026 |
| Cheat Master Shadow Sprite | August 27, 2026 |
| Cheat Master Jackrabbit Sprite | August 27, 2026 |
| Cheat Master Klombo Sprite | August 27, 2026 |
All four are part of the next expansion of Fortnite’s Chapter 7 Season 4 Cheat Master collection.
Epic has already confirmed that Override is built around a new generation of Sprites with new powers, variants and additional ways to discover them, so the August 27 rollout fits directly into that wider seasonal system.
For now, the Fortnite Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite remains unavailable. The important date is August 27, when Killswitch joins Shadow, Jackrabbit and Klombo as the next four Cheat Master variants to enter the live Sprite collection.
