The Fortnite BodySlam Sprite is an upcoming Chapter 7 Season 4 Sprite that has appeared in newly datamined game information. Unlike several of the other leaked Sprites, BodySlam is specifically identified as a collaboration Sprite, suggesting another crossover character is being prepared for Fortnite Override.

For now, BodySlam appears to be a development or internal name rather than confirmation that the finished Sprite will actually be called BodySlam when it releases.
What is the Fortnite BodySlam Sprite?
The Fortnite BodySlam Sprite was discovered alongside a batch of upcoming Chapter 7 Season 4 Sprites following the launch of Override.
The leaked group includes Meowscles, Cube, Headshot, Squibbly, Overshield and BodySlam. While most of those names already give us a reasonable idea of what the Sprite represents, BodySlam stands out because the leaked information specifically describes it as a collab Sprite.
That makes it more comparable to crossover Sprites such as Sonic, Tails and Shadow than Fortnite-original characters like Jonesy or Klombo.
However, no reliable leak has yet revealed which collaboration BodySlam belongs to.
Is BodySlam the final name of the Sprite?
Not necessarily.
BodySlam could simply be a codename used internally while the Sprite is being developed. Fortnite frequently uses internal names that do not match the final names shown to players, particularly for unreleased crossover content.
The fact that the Sprite is described as a collaboration makes that especially plausible. Epic may be deliberately keeping the licensed character name out of easily datamined files until closer to its reveal.
Until the collaboration is identified, BodySlam is the most useful name available for the upcoming Sprite.
Which collab is the BodySlam Sprite from?
The collaboration behind the Fortnite BodySlam Sprite has not been confirmed.
Chapter 7 Season 4 already has an unusually large crossover lineup. Epic has officially announced or teased content from Sonic the Hedgehog, Tetris, Mega Man, Kingdom Hearts, Persona 5 Royal, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Pac-Man, 99 Nights in the Forest, Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon during Override.
That gives Epic plenty of possible characters to turn into Sprites, but there is currently no reliable evidence connecting BodySlam to one specific franchise.
The name itself may sound like it points towards a character associated with strength or wrestling, but that alone is nowhere near enough to identify the crossover.
When is the Fortnite BodySlam Sprite coming out?
There is currently no confirmed release date for the Fortnite BodySlam Sprite.
Epic has already confirmed that Chapter 7 Season 4 will introduce a new generation of Sprites with new powers and variants, and the Sprite collection is expected to continue expanding throughout the season.
BodySlam being present in the files therefore fits with the season’s ongoing Sprite rollout, but it does not tell us which update will actually make the Sprite obtainable.
It could arrive alongside the collaboration it belongs to rather than during a standard New Sprite Day. That would make sense for a licensed Sprite, particularly if Epic wants its reveal to coincide with an Outfit or other crossover cosmetics.
How do you get the BodySlam Sprite in Fortnite?
There is currently no confirmed method for getting the Fortnite BodySlam Sprite.
Chapter 7 Season 4 gives Epic several different ways to distribute new Sprites. Regular Sprites can be discovered during Battle Royale matches, while some special variants can be unlocked through Lobby Hacks entered into the Admin Panel.
Other Sprites may also be connected to specific events, collaborations or limited releases.
Until BodySlam is activated, there is no known Cheat Code, Lobby Hack or guaranteed location that unlocks it.
What ability does the BodySlam Sprite have?
The BodySlam Sprite ability has not been leaked or officially announced.
Sprites in Fortnite Override provide gameplay effects while players carry them, with the current lineup offering bonuses ranging from faster sprinting and hovering to automatic weapon reloads and additional jumps.
That means BodySlam should eventually have a distinct gameplay power of its own.
Its codename does tempt us towards some sort of impact, movement or close-range ability, but there is no factual basis for assigning it one yet.
Will the BodySlam Sprite have variants?
No BodySlam variants have currently been identified.
That is worth noting because the same leak specifically mentions variant information for some of the other upcoming Sprites. Squibbly and Overshield are reported to support multiple variants, while Headshot has both a standard and Gold version in the data.
BodySlam is currently listed only as the base collaboration Sprite.
Chapter 7 Season 4 does have an expanded variant system, however, with Gold, Gummy, Holofoil and other forms continuing alongside newer variants.
A lack of leaked variants right now therefore does not guarantee that BodySlam will only ever have one form.
Is BodySlam already in Fortnite?
No. The Fortnite BodySlam Sprite is currently leaked rather than available as part of the live Sprite collection.
Fortnite Override launched with its own new group of Sprites, including Sonic, Tails, Klombo, Jonesy, Adventure, Crown and several others. The season is designed to add more Sprites over time rather than releasing the entire collection at once.
BodySlam belongs to that future group.
For now, the strongest confirmed detail is also the most interesting one: the Fortnite BodySlam Sprite is an upcoming collaboration Sprite. Once its real identity is revealed, we should finally know which of Chapter 7 Season 4’s many gaming crossovers is getting another place in the Sprite collection.
