Current Fortnite Sprite data places the next scheduled Sprite release at 13:00 UTC, which is 2 PM BST in the UK, 9 AM ET and 6 AM PT. The August 27 batch includes Cheat Master Shadow alongside Cheat Master Jackrabbit, Cheat Master Klombo and Cheat Master Killswitch.

How to get Cheat Master Shadow Sprite in Fortnite
There is currently no working method to get the Fortnite Cheat Master Shadow Sprite before August 27.
Players have already been searching and trading for the missing Cheat Master variants because they appear in the Sprite collection, but live tracking still lists Shadow, Jackrabbit, Klombo and Killswitch as unavailable. There is also no functioning Lobby Hack code for these four Sprites yet.
Once the August 27 Sprite release activates, Cheat Master Shadow is expected to become obtainable through the updated Chapter 7 Season 4 Sprite system.

Is Cheat Master Shadow Sprite available now?
No. The Fortnite Cheat Master Shadow Sprite is not currently available as of August 24.
This is worth stressing because the variant already appears in players’ Sprite collections as a missing entry, which can make it look as though someone should already be able to find or trade one.
Current live Sprite tracking shows the variant as not yet released, and Fortnite Sprite communities have also been warning players that Cheat Master Shadow, Jackrabbit, Klombo and Killswitch are not legitimately obtainable yet.
If someone claims to have a legitimate Cheat Master Shadow before the release activates, treat that claim cautiously.
What does the Shadow Sprite do in Fortnite?
The standard Shadow Sprite automatically reloads weapons over time, including weapons that are not currently equipped.
Epic Games officially describes its ability as automatically reloading your weapons over time even while they are unequipped. That makes Shadow particularly useful when carrying several weapons that would otherwise need to be manually reloaded between fights.
The Cheat Master version keeps the underlying Shadow Sprite identity while adding the special Cheat Master variant effect.
What does the Cheat Master variant do?
Cheat Master Sprites are designed specifically around Chapter 7 Season 4’s Cheat Code system.
Normally, opening a Cheat Code requires you to correctly enter a sequence of directional inputs. Carrying a Cheat Master Sprite makes that process much easier because incorrect directional inputs are treated as correct.
That means the Fortnite Cheat Master Shadow Sprite combines Shadow’s useful weapon-reloading identity with the Cheat Master benefit when interacting with Cheat Codes.
For players spending a lot of time hunting additional Sprites, the Cheat Master variants can significantly speed up the process of clearing Cheat Codes around the island.
Do you need to master Shadow to get Cheat Master Shadow?
There is currently no confirmed requirement saying that you must master the standard Shadow Sprite before obtaining the Cheat Master Shadow Sprite.
Some special Sprite variants do use mastery requirements. The Cheat Master Crown Sprite, for example, is linked to mastering the Crown Sprite to Level 5, although Epic is currently investigating an issue preventing some qualifying players from receiving that variant.
The other Cheat Master Sprites have used different methods, including Lobby Hack codes.
Until the August 27 release actually activates, there is no evidence that Shadow will follow Crown’s Level 5 requirement.
Is there a Cheat Master Shadow Lobby Hack code?
No working Cheat Master Shadow Lobby Hack code is currently available.
Chapter 7 Season 4 already uses Lobby Hacks to unlock several Cheat Master variants directly from the Admin Panel, but Shadow is not part of the currently active code group.
The August 27 update could introduce a code or make Cheat Master Shadow available through normal Cheat Codes and Sprite drops instead. The final method has not been confirmed yet.
Players should therefore avoid codes claiming to unlock Cheat Master Shadow before the official release.

The regular versions of Shadow, Jackrabbit and Klombo are already part of Override, with Epic confirming their standard abilities at launch. Shadow automatically reloads weapons over time, Jackrabbit provides an additional mid-air jump, and Klombo grants random items as it levels up.
What time does Cheat Master Shadow release in the UK?
The current scheduled activation time is 2 PM BST on Thursday, August 27.
That corresponds to 9 AM ET and 6 AM PT in the United States. Live configuration data currently points to 13:00 UTC for the Sprite release, although Fortnite can occasionally activate content slightly earlier or later than a scheduled timestamp.
