If you want to know how to get Gold Storm Scout Sprite in Fortnite, you cannot collect it yet. Gold Storm Scout is part of the Chapter 7 Season 4 Sprite collection, but Gold Storm Scout is currently unreleased, along with the base Storm Scout Sprite and Cheat Master Storm Scout.
That means players searching how to get Gold Storm Scout Sprite in Fortnite are not missing a secret location, rare Chest or Golden Hours trick. The Sprite exists in the Season 4 collection structure, but it has not been activated in the live loot pool.
How to Get Gold Storm Scout Sprite in Fortnite
Right now, there is no way to get Gold Storm Scout Sprite in Fortnite.
Fortnite.GG currently lists all three Storm Scout variants as unreleased:
- Storm Scout Sprite
- Cheat Master Storm Scout Sprite
- Gold Storm Scout Sprite
The other 11 Season 4 Gold variants are live, but Gold Storm Scout remains unavailable.
So if you have collected every other Gold Sprite and still have one empty slot, Gold Storm Scout is almost certainly the reason.
Is Gold Storm Scout Sprite Available Yet?
No.
Gold Storm Scout Sprite has an existing Fortnite asset and appears as part of the wider Chapter 7 Season 4 Sprite lineup, but current live tracking still marks the variant as Unreleased.
Until Epic releases Storm Scout, you cannot complete the Gold Storm Scout entry.
Why Does My Sprite Tracker Show Gold Storm Scout?
The full Chapter 7 Season 4 collection was structured around 12 new Sprites, each with Base, Gold and Cheat Master versions.
That creates 36 potential Season 4 collection entries.
However, only 11 base Sprites and their corresponding Gold and Cheat Master variants are currently live. Storm Scout accounts for the remaining three unavailable entries.
This is why a complete tracker can show 12 Gold Sprite slots even though only 11 Gold Sprites can currently be collected.
When Will Gold Storm Scout Sprite Release?
Epic has not confirmed an exact Gold Storm Scout release date.
Current third-party tracking points toward Storm Scout arriving during a later Sprite event rather than being part of the initial obtainable roster.
Until Epic activates it, any precise release date circulating online should be treated as unconfirmed.
We will update this guide once how to get Gold Storm Scout Sprite in Fortnite becomes possible in the live game.
Can You Get Gold Storm Scout During Golden Hours?
Not during the current Golden Hours event.
Golden Hours boosts the Gold variants that are actually available, but Gold Storm Scout remains marked unreleased. Current Gold Sprite coverage lists 11 Gold Sprites live right now, with Storm Scout absent from the obtainable set.
Playing Golden Hours therefore will not currently fill your Gold Storm Scout slot.
How Many Gold Sprites Are Available Right Now?
There are 11 obtainable Gold Sprites in Chapter 7 Season 4.
Those are:
- Gold 8-Bit
- Gold Adventure
- Gold Bush
- Gold Crown
- Gold Jackrabbit
- Gold Jonesy
- Gold Killswitch
- Gold Klombo
- Gold Shadow
- Gold Sonic
- Gold Tails
Gold Storm Scout is the twelfth Gold variant in the Season 4 collection, but it remains unreleased.
What Will Gold Storm Scout Sprite Do?
Current data says Gold Storm Scout will retain the base Storm Scout ability while also receiving the standard Gold variant bonus.
Storm Scout’s ability is described as applying Overdrive after taking enough Storm damage, with the amount of damage required decreasing as the Sprite levels.
At maximum level, Storm Scout also reveals future Storm Circles.
Gold Storm Scout is additionally listed with 3x Sprite XP from eliminations, matching the aggressive progression bonus associated with Gold variants.
Does Gold Storm Scout Reveal Future Storm Circles?
Yes, according to the current Storm Scout ability data.
Once Storm Scout reaches maximum level, it can reveal future Storm Circles.
Gold Storm Scout should retain that same core ability when it becomes obtainable.
That could make it especially useful late in matches, as knowing the next safe zone before other players provides a significant rotational advantage.
What Rarity Is Gold Storm Scout Sprite?
There is currently conflicting third-party information around Storm Scout’s rarity.
Fortnite.GG presently lists the unreleased base Storm Scout as Rare, while other current trackers have displayed it as Legendary.
Because Storm Scout remains unreleased, it is better to wait for its live release before treating one of those rarity listings as definitive.
The important confirmed point for now is that Gold Storm Scout cannot yet be obtained.
Is There a Gold Storm Scout Location?
No.
There is currently no Gold Storm Scout location in Fortnite because the variant has not been released.
You cannot find it by landing at a particular POI, searching a specific Chest or travelling to a secret section of the map.
Once how to get Gold Storm Scout Sprite in Fortnite becomes possible, its acquisition method may follow the wider Season 4 Sprite system, but that should not be assumed until the Sprite actually goes live.
Can Gold Storm Scout Come From Cheat Code Chests?
Not currently.
Cheat Code Chests are one of the main ways to obtain Season 4 Sprites, but they cannot currently produce a Sprite that remains outside the live collection pool. Current Season 4 guides describe Cheat Code Chests as the normal Sprite acquisition route.
Gold Storm Scout therefore cannot simply be farmed by opening more Chests while it remains unreleased.
Is There a Code for Gold Storm Scout?
There is no confirmed Lobby Hack or Cheat Code that unlocks Gold Storm Scout at the moment.
Chapter 7 Season 4 contains several Admin Panel codes and in-match Cheat Codes, but none currently bypass Storm Scout’s unreleased status.
If a code becomes part of how to get Gold Storm Scout Sprite in Fortnite when the Sprite launches, that can be covered separately.
Can Adventure Sprite Turn Storm Scout Gold?
No confirmed method currently allows Adventure Sprite to unlock Gold Storm Scout before release.
Adventure Sprite can upgrade eligible inventory items when it levels, but it cannot make an unreleased collection entry suddenly obtainable.
Do not waste matches trying to turn another Sprite into Gold Storm Scout while the actual Gold Storm Scout variant remains disabled.
Why Are There 12 Gold Sprite Slots but Only 11 Gold Sprites?
Because Gold Storm Scout is the missing twelfth variant.
The full Season 4 generation contains 12 Base, 12 Gold and 12 Cheat Master slots, but Storm Scout and both of its variants remain unreleased.
That leaves 33 currently obtainable Season 4 entries rather than the full 36.
Fortnite.GG’s current tracker reflects this directly, showing 33 available entries while Storm Scout, Cheat Master Storm Scout and Gold Storm Scout are marked unreleased.
Should You Keep Searching for Gold Storm Scout?
No.
If Gold Storm Scout is the only gap in your Gold collection, you have done everything you currently can.
There is no benefit to repeatedly searching Chests or playing Golden Hours specifically for Gold Storm Scout until Epic releases the Sprite.
Keep an eye on the collection when future Sprite events begin, because Storm Scout is clearly already prepared as part of the Season 4 roster.
