The ESO Abecean Sea Privateer Style is a pirate-themed outfit collection introduced during the High Seas of Tamriel event. It includes ten weapon appearances earned through Legendary Deep Plunder Boxes or purchased from the Impresario, alongside seven matching armour pieces unlocked through Golden Pursuits.
Collecting the complete ESO Abecean Sea Privateer Style requires more than repeating the event’s daily quest. The weapons and armour have different unlock requirements, so knowing which activity rewards each piece will save you from farming the wrong content. High Seas of Tamriel runs from September 30 to October 14, 2026, giving players a limited window to collect the new appearances.
How to Get ESO Abecean Sea Privateer Style Pages
The ten weapon style pages are available through two methods during High Seas of Tamriel: opening Legendary Deep Plunder Boxes or purchasing individual pages from the Impresario using Trade Bars.

To unlock the event’s daily rewards, start by completing Raising the Riotous Redress. You can obtain the introductory quest from the Quest Starters section of the Crown Store or meet Baron-Captain Olsien Guy Mard near Anvil on the Gold Coast.
Finishing the introduction unlocks Bounty of the Abecean Sea, the event’s repeatable daily quest. This sends you into a ship battle against Sea Elf enemies before taking you underwater to fight creatures and recover treasure.
Completing the daily quest provides a Deep Plunder Box, but the box’s quality determines whether it can contain one of the new weapon appearances.
Legendary Deep Plunder Boxes
The first qualifying High Seas quest completed on your account each day awards a Legendary Deep Plunder Box.
These gold-quality boxes have a chance to contain an ESO Abecean Sea Privateer Style weapon page. The reward is random, so you’re not guaranteed to receive a page every day.
Opening the Legendary box also provides 300 Trade Bars, which can be saved and spent at the Impresario.
Epic Deep Plunder Boxes
Additional qualifying event quest completions can award Epic Deep Plunder Boxes, available once per character per day.
These purple-quality boxes contain other event rewards, including crafting materials, treasure maps, Antiquity leads and nautical furnishings.
However, Abecean Sea Privateer weapon pages are exclusive to Legendary Deep Plunder Boxes. Farming additional Epic boxes won’t give you more chances at these particular pages.
This distinction is particularly important if you’re using several characters to complete the event each day.
All ESO Abecean Sea Privateer Style Weapon Pages
There are ten weapon appearances to collect. Each unlocks a different weapon category through ESO’s Outfit System.
The complete ESO Abecean Sea Privateer Style weapon collection includes:
- Abecean Sea Privateer Axe
- Abecean Sea Privateer Battle Axe
- Abecean Sea Privateer Bow
- Abecean Sea Privateer Dagger
- Abecean Sea Privateer Greatsword
- Abecean Sea Privateer Mace
- Abecean Sea Privateer Maul
- Abecean Sea Privateer Shield
- Abecean Sea Privateer Staff
- Abecean Sea Privateer Sword
These are outfit style pages rather than chapters from a traditional crafting motif. Learning a page unlocks its appearance for use at an Outfit Station.
The weapon appearances can be collected independently, so you don’t need to finish the entire set before using one you’ve already unlocked.
How Much Do ESO Abecean Sea Privateer Style Pages Cost?
The Impresario offers bound versions of the ten weapon style pages during High Seas of Tamriel.
Each page costs 500 Trade Bars, allowing you to purchase a specific missing appearance instead of relying on another random drop.
Trade Bars are earned through ESO’s wider reward systems, but the High Seas daily is particularly useful because the first Legendary Deep Plunder Box of the day provides 300.
The daily 300 Trade Bar reward is limited to once per account. Completing Bounty of the Abecean Sea on additional characters doesn’t provide another Legendary box or another 300 Trade Bars that day.
For collectors, the ESO Abecean Sea Privateer Style is easier to complete when you combine both methods. Open your daily Legendary box before deciding whether to purchase a page, since it might contain something you were about to buy.
If you already have several pages unlocked, the Impresario provides a direct way to obtain the remaining weapons while the event is active.
How to Get ESO Abecean Sea Privateer Style Armour
The matching armour appearances are earned through Set Sail on the High Seas, the Golden Pursuits campaign running alongside the event.
Unlike the weapon pages, these pieces are milestone rewards. You’ll need to complete event-related Golden Pursuits tasks to unlock them.
There are 24 available objectives, but only 18 completed tasks are needed to earn the final armour reward.
| Armour piece | Golden Pursuits tasks required |
|---|---|
| Abecean Sea Privateer Sash | 5 |
| Abecean Sea Privateer Epaulets | 6 |
| Abecean Sea Privateer Breeches | 8 |
| Abecean Sea Privateer Hat | 10 |
| Abecean Sea Privateer Gloves | 12 |
| Abecean Sea Privateer Shoes | 16 |
| Abecean Sea Privateer Jerkin | 18 |
These objectives include completing event quests, participating in ship combat, exploring underwater areas, defeating enemies and interacting with features introduced during High Seas.
You can track your progress through the Golden Pursuits interface and claim the relevant rewards as you reach each milestone.
The ESO Abecean Sea Privateer Style therefore has 17 separate appearances across its weapon and armour collections.
Opening more Deep Plunder Boxes won’t replace the Golden Pursuits requirements for the armour pieces, so make sure you’re progressing both reward tracks if you want the complete outfit.
Can You Trade Abecean Sea Privateer Style Pages?
Weapon pages obtained as unbound event drops can be traded or sold to other players. This provides another way to find missing appearances through player trading.
However, pages purchased from the Impresario are bound. Those purchases are intended for your own collection and cannot be resold.
Before buying an ESO Abecean Sea Privateer Style page, check whether you’ve already learned the appearance. There’s little benefit in spending 500 Trade Bars on something you’ve previously unlocked.
If you receive a duplicate unbound page from a Legendary box, you can consider selling or trading it rather than consuming another copy unnecessarily.
Prices on guild traders can change throughout the event as more pages enter circulation.
Is the Ostentatious Pirate Wig and Hat Part of the Style?
The Ostentatious Pirate Wig and Hat is a separate collectible awarded for completing Raising the Riotous Redress.
Although it matches the nautical theme, it isn’t one of the ten Privateer weapon pages or the seven Golden Pursuits armour pieces.
The ESO Abecean Sea Privateer Style includes its own Hat appearance, unlocked after completing ten Golden Pursuits tasks.
You can collect both headwear rewards during High Seas, but they come from different activities.
When Does ESO Abecean Sea Privateer Style Availability End?
High Seas of Tamriel runs from September 30 until October 14, 2026.
During this period, players can earn Legendary Deep Plunder Boxes, purchase the Privateer weapon pages from the Impresario and complete the associated Golden Pursuits campaign.
If you’re still missing weapon appearances, prioritise collecting your daily Legendary box and checking the Impresario’s available pages before the event closes.
For the armour set, review your remaining Golden Pursuits objectives. You only need 18 of the 24 tasks to claim the final Jerkin reward, so completing every objective isn’t necessary.
Best Way to Complete the ESO Abecean Sea Privateer Style
The most efficient route is to work on the weapon collection and Golden Pursuits milestones together.
Start with Raising the Riotous Redress to unlock the daily quest. Complete Bounty of the Abecean Sea each day to earn your Legendary Deep Plunder Box and 300 Trade Bars, then check whether you’ve received a new weapon appearance.
During those voyages, work towards the Golden Pursuits objectives rather than rushing directly to the quest reward. Ship battles, underwater exploration and enemy encounters all provide opportunities to complete additional tasks.
As you accumulate Trade Bars, visit the Impresario and purchase any weapon pages you’re still missing. If you receive a tradeable duplicate, you can also consider exchanging it with another player.
This way, you’re making progress towards the full collection without relying entirely on random rewards.
