Can GO Pass October Kyogre Be Shiny in Pokémon GO?

Can GO Pass October Kyogre Be Shiny is confirmed because Pokémon GO specifically marks the featured Kyogre encounter as Shiny eligible in the October pass announcement.

That is different from saying the reward has boosted or guaranteed Shiny odds, neither of which has been announced.

GO Pass October Kyogre Shiny availability

Can GO Pass October Kyogre Be Shiny Image Pokémon GO.

Yes. The October GO Pass reward can produce a Shiny Kyogre if you are lucky.

The same Shiny eligibility applies whether you are using the free track or Deluxe because Kyogre itself is part of the standard reward list.

Is Shiny Kyogre guaranteed?

No. The official wording is chance-based. A normal Kyogre remains the expected outcome for many players.

Do not treat the pass as a guaranteed Shiny distribution or special Shiny research unless Pokémon GO later changes the reward description.

What are the Shiny odds?

Pokémon GO does not publish a numerical Shiny rate for this reward. The announcement does not say the encounter has an increased Shiny chance.

Raid assumptions should not be presented as a confirmed research rate. The safest wording is simply that the pass encounter is Shiny eligible.

Do you need Deluxe for a Shiny check?

No. The featured Kyogre encounter belongs to the main October pass rewards. Deluxe adds different rewards rather than unlocking the ability for Kyogre to be Shiny.

A free player therefore gets the same confirmed Shiny eligibility on the Kyogre reward.

When can you claim Kyogre?

The pass runs October 6 to November 3, and unlocked rewards must be claimed by November 5 at 10:00 a.m. local time.

The exact Kyogre rank is not listed in the announcement, so check the live pass track once October begins.

What makes the encounter useful even when not Shiny?

Kyogre remains a valuable Legendary for a Pokédex entry, Candy, trading and battle investment. A high-IV normal reward can still be worth keeping.

Use the linked Kyogre acquisition guide for the reward mechanics and this page specifically for the Shiny question.

What a Shiny-eligible Kyogre reward actually means

Can GO Pass October Kyogre Be Shiny has a yes answer, but Shiny eligibility should not be confused with a guaranteed Shiny encounter. The pass gives you a Kyogre check, and the result is still determined when the encounter is generated.

There is no need to buy Deluxe purely for this check. The featured Kyogre is on the free reward track, so Can GO Pass October Kyogre Be Shiny applies to Trainers using the free pass as well as those who purchase an upgrade.

Do not treat an unofficial community estimate as an announced event rate. Pokémon GO confirms when a species can appear Shiny, but unless a numeric rate is published, Can GO Pass October Kyogre Be Shiny should be understood as availability rather than a promise of particular odds.

Even a non-Shiny result still gives a free-track Kyogre encounter without requiring a raid. That makes Can GO Pass October Kyogre Be Shiny useful to check before claiming, but it should not be the only reason to progress through the October pass.

In short, Can GO Pass October Kyogre Be Shiny is worth checking before you claim, but the pass should be viewed as one Shiny-eligible encounter rather than a guaranteed Shiny reward.
