Black Flag Resynced 100% Completion is not quite the same thing as earning the Platinum trophy. Some trophies require you to collect particular sets of items, but the full world also contains optional chests, secrets, outfits and trinkets that the Platinum doesn’t ask for. Planning around the correct totals saves a lot of unnecessary sailing.
There are no permanently missable trophies, and you can explore after the campaign ends. Difficulty does not affect the trophies either. Those are the main collectible targets; story and activity trophies also exist. Don’t count a manor decoration as finished just because it appears in your inventory. Display it in its proper frame, rack or shelf.
Black Flag Resynced 100% Completion: Forts and Exploration
Capture all 11 forts to clear the sea chart’s fog and reveal useful routes, then synchronise viewpoints as you visit islands. There are 61 viewpoints, while Cartographer asks for 57 discovered locations including forts. Clearing every island’s ordinary chests and secrets is a broader map-cleanup project, not a requirement for that discovery trophy.
The location panels and map filters make it easier to see what remains. Pick one type of activity at a time instead of treating every symbol on the map as equally urgent.
Black Flag Resynced 100% Completion: Shipwrecks and Ships
Complete the seven diving sites once Diving for Medicines unlocks the diving bell in Sequence 6. Six Ultimate Ship Plans are underwater, and the other six are buried treasure rewards. Finding plans opens their upgrade tiers, but you must pay the Harbourmaster to fully upgrade the Jackdaw for Ship This.
Five Legendary Ships appear in four battles because HMS Fearless and Royal Sovereign fight together. Defeat all five for Devil of the Caribbean. Lower Naval difficulty if you need to; Nightmare and New Game+ are not trophy requirements.
Black Flag Resynced 100% Completion: Officers and Manor
All Hands on Deck requires Adéwalé, Anne Bonny, Lucy Baldwin, The Padre and Tobias Smith. The Quartermasters join through the story, while the three specialists need officer quests. Their abilities also help against Legendary Ships.
For Dilettante, display all 41 Art Pieces, 20 Ship Models and 11 Portraits, alongside nine Paintings, any 18 Swords and any 12 Pistols. Boarding the right vessels matters for Ship Models; sinking every ship you encounter won’t necessarily earn its model.
Do You Need Every Treasure Map and Chest?
The remake has 30 treasure maps, 28 song sheets, 16 Mayan Stelae, 30 Assassin Contracts and 15 Naval Contracts. You do not need every standard chest for Platinum. Prioritise maps awarding the six Ultimate Ship Plans, three Art Pieces and one Portrait if you’re focusing on trophy unlocks.
A literal Black Flag Resynced 100% Completion sweep goes further and includes all local panel objectives, normal chests, outfits and trinkets. That is worth doing if you enjoy exploration, but it isn’t necessary to unlock the game’s major collection trophies.
Full Black Flag Resynced Collection Counts Beyond Platinum
If you’re after an entirely cleared map rather than just the trophies, the wider collectible totals are 84 regular money chests, 105 Secrets, 30 treasure maps, 28 shanties, 16 Mayan Stelae, 30 Assassin Contracts, 15 Naval Contracts, 11 taverns and nine warehouses. Regular money chests and Secrets are separate categories in each location’s tracker; a Secret can be a special chest, map or bottled letter.
The wider equipment catalogue also includes 38 outfits, 24 trinkets, 28 swords, 19 pistols and 12 paintings. Dilettante only calls for nine paintings, any 18 swords and any 12 pistols; collecting the rest is for a completely filled catalogue.
Cartographer counts 57 unique discovered places: 39 islands, 11 forts and seven shipwrecks. Sailing near a fort counts for discovery, but King of the Castle still requires you to capture it. Likewise, entering a wreck makes its location count toward Cartographer, while Seven Deadly Seas asks you to clear its activity. Use those distinctions to work out which trophy hasn’t registered.
Best Route for Black Flag Resynced 100% Completion
Open free sailing, clear forts, synchronise viewpoints and finish the diving sites. Collect Ultimate Ship Plans, recruit all five officers, then take on the Legendary Ships. Finish the manor and portraits before cleaning up normal icons and optional collections.
Update 1.0.8 added New Game+, which resets forts and map discovery while carrying over gear, completed treasure maps and ship upgrades. Complete your original Black Flag Resynced 100% Completion checklist before starting a fresh cycle if you want the cleanest record of what you’ve finished.
