Spocco Points are the currency you earn by playing Nintendo Switch Sports Resort and spend on random cosmetic rewards at the Item Center. Nintendo confirms you can earn them from sports in offline and online modes. You don’t need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to start unlocking outfits, hairstyles and other customisation items.
The easiest way to collect Spocco Points is to play at least once a day, then stick with sports you can complete consistently. Hands-on reviews report a 1,000-point daily bonus and a 1,000-point cost for each Item Center draw. The daily bonus makes even a short session worthwhile, although the regular match payout varies with your sport and performance.

How to earn Spocco Points
Start a match in a sport, finish the activity and look at the results screen. Spocco Points are paid for sports in any mode, including offline play. That includes working on Island Crown and playing with friends. The nine Island Crown sports have a separate ranking path, but the game has twelve activities altogether, including Skateboarding, Power Cruising and Prop Plane.
Match payouts depend on the sport and any bonuses you trigger. For example, a hands-on review recorded a 1.1× bonus from a Thumb Wrestling achievement. Play a few rounds, compare the points and time spent, then stick with the activity that works for you.
Claiming the daily 1,000-point bonus
Launch reviews report a 1,000-point daily-play bonus, enough for one Item Center draw. Sign in with your usual player profile, finish an activity and check the results screen for the award. You can still earn regular match points after receiving the daily reward.
If you only have time for one game, claiming those daily Spocco Points is an efficient routine. Once the daily reward has been earned, additional games still generate their usual match points. The full list of twelve sports can help you choose an activity that fits your session length.

Which sport farms points fastest?
To compare farming methods, play three quick rounds of a favourite sport and note your total Spocco Points. Repeat with another activity and compare the time spent. A short match may beat a long one for points per minute, while Island Crown also advances an offline rank.
Play with your goals in mind. If you want competitive rewards, use the Island Champions and Legends guide while you earn points. If you want quick entertainment with friends, local multiplayer works too. Spocco Points aren’t reserved for online wins.
Why am I not earning Spocco Points locally?
Check which Switch 2 profile each player selected. A played-game review warns that guests may not accumulate Spocco Points under their own identity. Use individual local user profiles for players who want their own cosmetic unlocks, then verify the balances after a match. Earning points as one player does not mean those points will appear on another player’s Item Center account.
Also confirm the match finished and that you’re checking the correct results screen. If an online activity isn’t available, you can still collect Spocco Points offline; only online multiplayer requires Nintendo Switch Online. The online modes guide describes the extra subscription requirements.
What should you buy first?
The Item Center offers rotating collections of clothing, hairstyles, accessories and sporting equipment appearances. Nintendo confirms two weekly collections and new monthly themes. Reviews report 1,000 Spocco Points for a random draw, with no duplicate reward within the collection, but you can’t necessarily choose a specific item. Look at the contents and remaining timer before using your balance.
Save your Spocco Points if you dislike the available collection, or spend when several rewards appeal to you. Achievements and Island Crown progression also award cosmetic items, so not every appearance has to come from a random draw. The Wuhu Island guide provides another way to explore while completing leisure activities.
