Pokemon GO Halloween costumes in 2026 include Pikachu in a hat and capelet, Zubat in a top hat and Sinistea wearing a bow. They arrive with Halloween Part I on October 27, but they are not all found in the same place: Pikachu and Sinistea appear in one-star raids, while Zubat is among the wild encounters.
If you’re trying to collect all three, start with the costume raid pool and the wild spawn list, then use the event’s Trick or Treat feature for extra chances at the advertised rewards. All three new costumes can appear Shiny, but the announcements don’t provide a particular Shiny rate.

The three new outfits have different encounter methods. Pikachu and Sinistea appear in one-star raids, so save Raid Passes for those catches. Top-hat Zubat appears in the wild and can be checked while you walk. None has a published boosted Shiny percentage.
Track Your Pokémon GO Collection
Use our interactive Pokémon GO trackers to record shinies, regional Pokémon, costumes, patterns and event collections.

Pikachu wearing a hat and capelet
One of the Pokemon GO Halloween costumes, hat-and-capelet Pikachu, appears in one-star raids during Halloween Part I. The new outfit belongs in the long-running Costume Pikachu collection alongside older normal and Shiny costume entries. Use your Raid Pass at a Gym showing the new Pikachu and check the catch encounter for its costume and possible Shiny colouring. The separate Costume Pikachu tracker helps you record it.
Pokemon GO Halloween costumes: Top Hat Zubat
Top Hat Zubat is a wild encounter during Halloween Part I. That makes it the most direct of the three new costumes to hunt without spending a raid pass. If Pokemon GO Halloween costumes are your goal, check every top-hat Zubat that appears while you explore. Trick or Treat may give Zubat Candy, but Candy alone does not unlock the costumed Pokémon.
Pokemon GO Halloween costumes: Bow Sinistea
Of the Pokemon GO Halloween costumes, Sinistea wearing a bow appears in one-star raids alongside the new Pikachu costume. The announcement also includes Sinistea Candy among possible Trick or Treat rewards, supporting the same collection target. If you still need the bow costume, use a pass for a one-star Sinistea raid. Shiny eligibility means you have a chance, not that every raid awards one.
Pokemon GO Halloween costumes: Shiny availability
All three new Pokemon GO Halloween costumes can be Shiny. Niantic lists each new outfit as Shiny eligible without stating boosted odds. A raid win offers a catch opportunity, not a guaranteed Shiny. Prioritise the costume you’re missing before spending passes solely on extra Shiny attempts.
Returning Pokemon GO Halloween costumes
The Halloween Part I wild pool also brings back Halloween Mischief Piplup and the rarer Halloween Mischief Drifblim. Those returning forms sit beside the 2026 debuts and can make a collection checklist look larger than the number of genuinely new costumes. Mark Piplup and Drifblim as returning outfits in your collection, then check which of the three new debuts you still need.
Using the Costume Pikachu Tracker
The new hat-and-capelet Pikachu belongs alongside older versions in the Costume Pikachu collection tracker. The collection tracker keeps normal and Shiny costume ownership in one place instead of treating each outfit as a separate checklist. Add the hat-and-capelet Pikachu to your checklist once caught. Keep its ordinary and Shiny versions separate if you’re collecting both.
Pokemon GO Halloween costumes: When do the encounters end?
You can use the confirmed wild and raid methods throughout the event. Halloween Part II continues the Pikachu and Sinistea raids until November 5 at 8 p.m. local time; top-hat Zubat’s announced wild window ends with Part I on November 1 at 10 a.m. local time. Field Research task rewards may add other encounters once the event is live.
