Where to get “Aqua Simulacra”
Aqua Simulacra can only be obtained via Wish, specifically by pulling from the Epitome Invocation Weapon Event Wish Banner. This bow will be featured on the said banner from February 7, 2023, to February 28, 2023. After that, there will be no way of acquiring the weapon unless a banner rerun takes place.

“Aqua Simulacra” Effects
This bow’s passive skill is called The Cleansing Form:
HP is increased by 16%. When there are opponents nearby, the DMG dealt by the wielder of this weapon is increased by 20%. This will take effect whether the character is on-field or not.
If you are curious about how this weapon’s passive skill works, below are some notes:
- You can activate the passive of this bow when there is at least one (1) enemy within an 8m horizontal radius.
- If you are unsure about the distance, you’ll know that the damage bonus from the passive is active whenever the top and bottom of the bow glow.
For every weapon refinement, the effects of this bow are increased by:

Recommended Characters
Aqua Simulacra may not have a whoppingly high Base ATK stat expected from a 5-star bow; however, its CRIT DMG bonus stat and overall DMG increase from its passive are a game changer for generally any DPS bow character. Moreover, this DMG increase from the passive can be triggered even when the equipping character is off-field, making it a great choice for both Main and Sub-DPS units.
This bow is the signature weapon of the 5-star Hydro character Yelan and is considered her BiS (best-in-slot) weapon. With talents that scale with her Max HP, she can take advantage of the HP increase that this bow provides. And with a role that is typically off-field, her coordinated attacks can still be boosted by the bow’s passive.
Other 5-star characters who can take advantage of this bow are the Cryo character Ganyu, the Anemo character Venti, the Hydro character Childe, the Dendro character Tighnari, and the Pyro character Yoimiya. While they won’t benefit much from the bow’s HP bonus, they can definitely make the most out of the bow’s CRIT DMG and overall DMG bonus.
As for 4-star characters, Aqua Simulacra is also a great option for the Pyro character Amber, the Electro character Fischl, and the Dendro character Collei whether you choose to build them as your Main DPS, which isn’t very conventional, or Sub-DPS.
