All Costume Pokémon During Pokémon GO PokéXciting! include the new regional PokéXciting! Pikachu alongside returning party hat Pokémon, Ribbon Jigglypuff and Party Hat Gengar.
PokéXciting! is part of Pokémon’s 30th anniversary celebrations and runs across Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Singapore, Manila and Bangkok between September 2026 and February 2027.
For costume collectors, this is one of the strongest parts of the event. Several costume Pokémon will appear directly in the wild, while Party Hat Gengar is tied to Lure Modules and PokéXciting! Pikachu has five different regional versions.

PokéXciting Pikachu Is the Main New Costume Pokémon
PokéXciting! Pikachu is the biggest new addition among All Costume Pokémon During Pokémon GO PokéXciting!.
Unlike most costume Pokémon, PokéXciting! Pikachu has five different regional versions.
Each participating region receives its own costume color inspired by the local area.
| PokéXciting! Pikachu Region | Event Dates |
|---|---|
| Kuala Lumpur | September 12–13, 2026 |
| Taipei | October 10–11, 2026 |
| Singapore | November 7–8, 2026 |
| Manila | January 23–24, 2027 |
| Bangkok | February 13–14, 2027 |
The exact costume colors have not yet been revealed.
Each regional version will continue appearing in the wild in its respective city for one month after the local event concludes.
PokéXciting! Pikachu can also be obtained through Timed Research and GO Stamp Rally encounters, including versions with Location Backgrounds.
Party Hat Bulbasaur
Bulbasaur wearing a party hat will appear more frequently in the wild during PokéXciting!.
It can also potentially be Shiny.
Party Hat Bulbasaur is especially fitting for the wider event because Gigantamax Venusaur is also included in PokéXciting! Gigantamax Battles.
This gives Trainers two different collection opportunities from the Bulbasaur evolutionary family during the event.
Party Hat Charmander
Charmander wearing a party hat is another confirmed wild costume encounter.
Shiny Party Hat Charmander is also available.
Like Bulbasaur, Charmander has a second major event connection through Gigantamax Charizard.
Collectors therefore have both a returning costume encounter and a Gigantamax final evolution to target during PokéXciting!.
Party Hat Squirtle
Squirtle wearing a party hat will appear in the wild throughout PokéXciting!.
It can potentially be Shiny.
Gigantamax Blastoise is also part of the Gigantamax Battle lineup, completing the same pattern across all three original Kanto partner Pokémon families.
Party Hat Raticate
Raticate wearing a party hat is included among the main PokéXciting! wild encounters.
It can also potentially be Shiny.
Unlike Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, Party Hat Raticate does not have a corresponding Gigantamax encounter during the event.
For players working specifically on costume collections, Party Hat Raticate is therefore worth watching for in the regular wild spawn pool.
Ribbon Jigglypuff
Jigglypuff wearing a ribbon is another returning costume Pokémon included in All Costume Pokémon During Pokémon GO PokéXciting!.
Ribbon Jigglypuff will appear in the wild and can potentially be Shiny.
It stands apart visually from the party hat theme used by many of the other costume Pokémon during the event.
Party Hat Grimer
Grimer wearing a party hat will appear more frequently in the wild.
Shiny Party Hat Grimer is also possible.
Party Hat Grimer is one of several Generation I costume Pokémon featured during the anniversary celebration, alongside Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Raticate and Pikachu.
Party Hat Eevee
Eevee wearing a party hat is part of the confirmed PokéXciting! wild encounter pool.
It can potentially be Shiny.
For costume collectors, Party Hat Eevee is likely to be one of the more desirable returning encounters due to Eevee’s already large range of costume appearances across Pokémon GO.

Party Hat Gengar
Gengar wearing a party hat is the only announced costume Pokémon tied specifically to Lure Modules.
It will be attracted to Lure Modules activated during event hours.
Party Hat Gengar can also potentially be Shiny.
Because it does not appear on the standard wild encounter list, Trainers looking specifically for this costume should make sure they are using or playing near active Lure Modules during PokéXciting!.
Which Costume Pokémon Can Be Shiny?
Every Pokémon included in the confirmed All Costume Pokémon During Pokémon GO PokéXciting! list can potentially be Shiny.
The full confirmed Shiny costume list is:

- Shiny Party Hat Squirtle
- Shiny Party Hat Raticate
- Shiny PokéXciting! Pikachu
- Shiny Ribbon Jigglypuff
- Shiny Party Hat Grimer
- Shiny Party Hat Eevee
- Shiny Party Hat Gengar
Shiny eligibility does not mean boosted odds.
No increased Shiny rates have been announced for these costume encounters.
Which Costume Pokémon Are Wild Encounters?
Most of the costume Pokémon during PokéXciting! appear directly in the wild.
The wild costume pool includes:
| Costume Pokémon | Wild Encounter? |

| Party Hat Charmander | Yes |
| Party Hat Squirtle | Yes |
| Party Hat Raticate | Yes |
| PokéXciting! Pikachu | Yes |

PokéXciting! Pikachu has longer availability than the main two-day event because each regional version remains in the wild for one month after its local event concludes.
The same extended availability has not been announced for the other costume Pokémon, so their confirmed availability should be treated as part of the main PokéXciting! event period unless further details are revealed.
Which PokéXciting Costume Pokémon Should Collectors Prioritize?
PokéXciting! Pikachu is the clear priority because there are five separate regional versions.
Party Hat Gengar is also worth targeting because it uses a different encounter method from the rest of the costume pool.
The remaining wild costumes are valuable for players filling gaps in their Pokémon GO costume collection, especially if they are also hunting for Shiny versions.
With nine confirmed costume Pokémon and five regional PokéXciting! Pikachu variants, All Costume Pokémon During Pokémon GO PokéXciting! adds a substantial collector-focused layer to Pokémon’s 30th anniversary celebration.
