Wolf Among Us Remastered Switch and Switch 2 versions have been delayed. The game launched on PC, PS5 and Xbox on October 29, 2026, but neither Nintendo version has a replacement release date.
Telltale announced the delay ahead of launch and confirmed it again on October 29. It says the Nintendo versions need more development time.

Why Was the Nintendo Version Delayed?
Telltale is taking more development time to finish the Nintendo editions. The publisher hasn’t named a particular technical problem.
The Wolf Among Us Remastered Switch delay is not a cancellation. Telltale’s launch statement refers to the Nintendo versions in the plural, covering its previously announced Switch and Switch 2 releases. There is no separate replacement date for either system.
Can You Buy the Remaster on Nintendo Yet?
No. The remaster’s October 29 digital release covered Steam, Epic, PlayStation 5 and Xbox One, with Xbox Series compatibility. Nintendo players cannot purchase the newly released edition from the Switch eShop as part of that launch.
The remaster will mark Bigby’s Nintendo debut. If you want a portable option now, Telltale also lists Steam Deck among its supported PC launch devices.
What Is Included in the Nintendo Edition?
Telltale is bringing the first game’s complete story to modern platforms. The remaster includes five episodes: Faith, Smoke and Mirrors, A Crooked Mile, In Sheep’s Clothing and Cry Wolf. It has enhanced character models, lighting, animation and remastered audio.
The bonus collection adds five playable deleted scenes, black-and-white Noir Mode, more than 100 pieces of artwork and over one hour of interviews. Telltale has not announced a separate shortened story for Nintendo. The Wolf Among Us Remastered Switch and Switch 2 releases remain part of the same remaster programme.
Will Nintendo Owners Get the 50% Launch Discount?
The existing October 29 to November 12 promotion applies to released PC, Xbox and PS5 versions. Telltale’s official discount page says Nintendo discount details will be shared later. The current 50% returning-owner promotion cannot be applied to an unreleased Switch edition.
Wolf Among Us Remastered Switch pricing will need to be checked when Nintendo’s storefront listings and launch rules are published. Telltale’s $24.99 US digital list price describes the released editions, not a confirmed GBP eShop price.
Is a Physical Edition Coming?
PM Studios plans physical editions in Q1 2027, covering January through March. The launch announcement does not include the final retail platform list or a firm physical release date. Those plans are separate from Nintendo’s undated digital launch.
The physical edition and delayed Nintendo digital editions have separate release schedules.
Where to Watch for the New Date
Telltale’s official news page is the source for a replacement Nintendo date. When an updated date is published, check the Nintendo eShop for the relevant console and its own price and discount rules.
Our release date and platforms guide covers all versions that are already playable. For now, Wolf Among Us Remastered Switch and Switch 2 remain delayed without a new date.
