UNDECEMBER Android 16 support changed on 28 October 2026. LINE Games raised its minimum from Android 15 to Android 16 or newer on 28 October 2026. Following the completed data patch, Android 15 and older systems can no longer access the game, even on phones that previously worked.
The first thing to check is your phone’s Android version. If it’s 15 or older, you need an official Android 16 upgrade. If you’re already on 16, make sure Google Play offers the latest UNDECEMBER update for your particular phone.

LINE Games originally proposed 30 October for the operating-system change, then moved the Android restriction to 28 October and marked the data patch complete. Its other notice still says to complete the mandatory Google Play app update after the 30 October patch. These are separate actions: the updated Android requirement took effect first.
Check your Android version
- Open Settings on your phone.
- Choose About Phone, then Software Information if those menus are shown.
- Find the field labelled Android Version.
- If it says Android 15 or earlier, open your phone’s Software Update menu and look for an official Android 16 upgrade.
- After updating the operating system, install the latest game update from Google Play and restart UNDECEMBER.
The OS number is not the same as the Android security patch level or the version of Samsung One UI. For UNDECEMBER Android 16, the requirement refers to Android itself. A new-looking phone or the latest security update does not necessarily mean it runs Android 16.
Which models work with UNDECEMBER Android 16?
LINE Games’ original device table lists the Galaxy S8 as a minimum and the Galaxy S10 as recommended, but it was written for much older Android versions. Those phones should not be treated as currently supported simply because they appear on that old list. What matters today is whether your exact model can run Android 16 and install UNDECEMBER from Google Play.
If your model cannot receive an official Android 16 update, it cannot meet the new OS requirement. Conversely, having Android 16 does not guarantee that Google Play will offer the game if other hardware, region or device restrictions apply. Why the old Play Store requirements are misleading
The publisher’s downloads page still lists Android 7 and 9 specifications, but the newer October 28 service notice supersedes them. For UNDECEMBER Android 16 eligibility, use the completed patch announcement rather than the game’s older launch-era requirements.
What to do if your phone cannot upgrade
There is no published toggle that makes Android 15 comply with the new requirement. Check with your phone manufacturer for an official upgrade before considering a replacement. UNDECEMBER remains available on compatible Windows PCs through Steam or the current LINE Games Launcher, which replaced the old FLOOR launcher.
