The event included Max Battle bonuses designed to help players collect enough Max Particles and complete multiple battles during the three-hour period.
Players who missed the event will need to wait for Gigantamax Rillaboom to return to the Max Battle rotation.
Summer Marathon: Arctic Embers
Summer Marathon: Arctic Embers runs from Tuesday, August 4 at 10:00 a.m. until Monday, August 10 at 8:00 p.m. local time.


Arctic Embers is one of the largest entries in the Pokémon GO Events August 2026 Calendar because it introduces Shiny Snom and combines Fire and Ice-themed encounters.

The monthly GO Pass begins on Tuesday, August 4 at 10:00 a.m. and remains active until Tuesday, September 8 at 10:00 a.m. local time.


Players automatically receive the free GO Pass and can complete Pass Tasks to earn GO Points and unlock rewards.

Choose Your Path: Venom and Vines runs from Tuesday, August 11 until Monday, August 17.
This event follows Arctic Embers in the Pokémon GO Events August 2026 Calendar and focuses on Poison and Grass-type Pokémon.
Choose Your Path events normally allow players to select between different Research routes or gameplay bonuses.
The exact path chosen may affect encounters, tasks or rewards, so players should review the requirements before confirming their selection.
Once a Pokémon GO Research path has been chosen, the decision is normally permanent for that Research line.
Nickit Community Day
