Pokémon Champions Ranked Battles are currently in Season M-6, running from September 9, 2026 at 02:00 UTC until October 7 at 01:59 UTC. The season uses Regulation Set M-C in both Single Battles and Double Battles, with end-of-season rewards based on the rank or placement you reach.
Pokémon Champions Ranked Battles have moved well beyond the original pre-launch explanation. Champion Tier and the top Master Ball ranks are open, the M-C roster is live, and every ranked match can also contribute Season Points toward the current M-6 Battle Pass.

Pokémon Champions Ranked Battles use Regulation M-C
Regulation M-C remains active through December 2, 2026. Pokémon legal in earlier Champions regulations remain eligible, while M-C adds 24 Pokémon and six Mega Evolutions.
The Click already has dedicated M-C roster, item and Mega pages, so use those when checking legality instead of an old M-A or M-B list.
Singles and Doubles are both available
Pokémon Champions Ranked Battles support Single Battle and Double Battle. Singles uses a prepared roster of three to six Pokémon with three selected for the match, while Doubles uses four to six with four selected.
Pokémon are set to Level 50. Current M-6 rules use a seven-minute player timer, a 90-second team preview and a 45-second turn timer.
How rank and placement work
Wins and losses move you through the normal ranked tiers. Once you reach Master Ball, placement becomes rating-based and you compete against other Master Ball players for a final position.
Champion Tier sits above the standard Master Ball climb and opens after the season begins rather than on day one.
Pokémon Champions Ranked Battles rewards
End-of-season rewards are mainly VP and scale with rank and placement. Champion Rank 1 currently awards 20,000 VP, while lower tiers step down from there.
The live Check Rules screen remains the best final reference for your exact payout because it shows the reward table tied to the current client.
Ranked Battles also level the Battle Pass
Season Points earned through Pokémon Champions Ranked Battles and competitions increase the M-6 Battle Pass. One group of matches can therefore progress the ladder and the pass at the same time.
The free pass includes Rillaboom, tickets, icons and VP. Premium adds Golisopod, Lucario, Mega Stones and the Emma Outfit Set.
What to check before queueing
Confirm every Pokémon on the selected Battle Team is legal under M-C and that held items satisfy the rules. Duplicate held items are not allowed.

When Season M-6 ends
Pokémon Champions Ranked Battles Season M-6 ends on October 7 at 01:59 UTC. The M-6 Battle Pass closes at the same time.
Regulation M-C continues until December 2, so the legal roster can remain in place when the next Ranked season begins.
What changes when Season M-6 ends
The October 7 season rollover changes the ranked ladder and Battle Pass, but it does not automatically end Regulation M-C. That ruleset continues until December 2, so teams built around the current legal roster can remain relevant even after M-6 closes.
Before the rollover, claim any rewards that require in-game collection and finish the Battle Pass levels you care about. The next ranked season can reuse M-C while still resetting seasonal progress and introducing a new reward track.
