Pokémon Champions Best Doubles Team Ideas for Regulation M-C
Real early-M-C teams rather than vague team-building advice
Pokémon Champions best doubles team searches deserve actual teams, not a lecture about team building. Regulation M-C is still new, so the examples below are labelled honestly: some come directly from current community teams and others are early testing shells built around the same live M-C ideas. Use them as starting sixes, then change one slot at a time after real matches show you what the roster is missing.
Regulation M-C began on September 9 and runs until December 2, 2026. Pokémon legal in earlier regulations remain eligible, while the update adds 24 newly available Pokémon and six new Mega Evolutions. That makes early team examples useful, but it is too soon to pretend one settled best six exists for every archetype.

1. Balanced Doubles six
A real early-M-C community roster with several viable leads. Mega Salamence is the main threat, while Sneasler and Rillaboom can create immediate pressure and Sinistcha/Aegislash give the roster more defensive texture.

2. Rain + Mega Golisopod
Pelipper and Basculegion create a clear rain mode. Farigiraf supports alternate speed control, Sneasler adds fast pressure and Mega Salamence gives the roster a second Mega option when Golisopod is a poor matchup.

3. Lucario Z offence
This early suggestion gives Mega Lucario Z multiple layers of support: screens, healing/redirection, speed control and two different offensive partners rather than asking Lucario to win every game by itself.
Which Doubles team should you try first?
For a first Doubles test, bring four based on the matchup instead of treating all six as mandatory. A common starting idea is one main attacker, one fast pressure/support Pokémon, one defensive or redirection slot and one flexible closer.
For Doubles, do not assume the same four should come to every match. Pick the mode that attacks the opponent’s weakest point and keep a second mode available. For Singles, make sure the six offers at least two believable groups of three rather than disguising one fixed trio as a full roster.
The easiest way to improve this Pokémon Champions best doubles team is to play several games before editing it. If one matchup keeps beating you, replace the slot that contributes least to that matchup. Constantly changing the team after one loss makes it almost impossible to tell whether the problem is the roster or simply unfamiliar play.
Rillaboom, Mega Salamence, Mega Golisopod and Mega Baxcalibur are especially useful early M-C targets because they are headline additions and are already generating active team-building discussion. That does not automatically make them the four best Pokémon in the format; it makes them sensible places to start if you want a current team rather than an M-B rerun.
