The Monster Hunter Outlanders download is available for the October 29, 2026 mobile launch on iPhone, iPad and Android. Use the authorised App Store or Google Play listing for your region, preferably reached from the official Monster Hunter Outlanders website. The base game is free with optional purchases.
The official pre-download information places the game resources at approximately 20 GB on iOS and 16 GB on Android. You may need extra room for extraction and updates. Downloading the small store package alone does not mean every file required to play is installed.
Monster Hunter Outlanders download size and launch installation
Download the app through your normal mobile store, open it and let it finish retrieving its resources. The pre-download notice lists about 16 GB for Android and 20 GB for iPhone and iPad. These figures describe game resources and are different from the smaller package displayed during the initial store installation. Leave additional free space for extracting and updating the assets.
On Android, choose Install from the correct Google Play listing. On iOS, use Get or your existing pre-order. If the store still only offers Pre-register, check the correct region and account, refresh the listing and return through the official website. The Monster Hunter Outlanders Download Not Working guide separates a missing button from a resource download that stops partway through.
Install compatibility is based on your device as well as the store’s availability. The detailed FAQ lists iPhone 8 Plus with iOS 15 and 3 GB RAM as an iOS minimum, and an Android 9 device with 4 GB RAM and a Snapdragon 835 or Dimensity 920-class chip as the Android minimum. For a smoother experience the recommendations are substantially higher. See our system requirements table and device compatibility checks.

On launch day, start from the official Monster Hunter Outlanders site or search your device’s normal store for the exact game title. Check the publisher information and artwork before installing. The global listing is associated with the official TiMi and Level Infinite publishing operation, while some regions use an authorized Garena listing. Regional publisher differences are a reason to start from the official site, not a reason to install an APK from an unknown mirror.
How to install Monster Hunter Outlanders on Android
For Android, open Google Play and look for the official listing linked through Monster Hunter Outlanders channels. When the launch build is available in your territory, use the normal Install button and allow Google Play to manage the package. The Monster Hunter Outlanders download does not require an unofficial APK source in regions where the game is officially released.

Do you need to pay to download Monster Hunter Outlanders?
No base purchase is required for the standard mobile release. Capcom describes the game as free-to-play with in-app purchases. That means the Monster Hunter Outlanders download itself is not sold as a premium boxed or digital product, although optional spending exists inside the game.
The mobile store disclosures also indicate in-app purchases and random-item elements. That is useful to know before installing, but it does not change the correct download route. Use the official storefront, review the store’s purchase controls if a child uses the device, and avoid sites that offer modified currency or altered clients.
What if Monster Hunter Outlanders is not showing in your store?
After launch, confirm that your device store is signed into the expected country, refresh the store page and follow the official website’s current pre-registration or download button. If the official site does not offer your region a working store route, that is a stronger signal than a third-party page claiming that the game is available everywhere.

That approach also makes later patches easier. A store-installed copy stays attached to the same update channel used for launch fixes and content downloads. The Monster Hunter Outlanders download is also easier to troubleshoot when it came from the supported storefront. Keeping the Monster Hunter Outlanders download tied to the official listing gives you the same update path as everyone else in your region. For a new live-service game, keeping the Monster Hunter Outlanders download on the official path is far more useful than getting an unofficial package a few hours early.
