Marvel Snap October 29 2026 Balance Changes nerf Scarlet Witch, Queen of Chaos and En Sabah Nur, and buff six cards including Hellcow, Leech and The First Ghost Rider. En Sabah Nur’s transformed Apocalypse also loses one Power, and a Discard bug involving Miniaturized Lab has been fixed.

Leech’s broader effect and Wolverine’s raised Objective threshold are the two important wording changes. Leech can now hit cards costing more than six, while Wolverine needs six Power to complete his Objective. The full before-and-after values are below.

The Marvel Snap October 29 2026 Balance Changes cover eight adjusted cards plus En Sabah Nur’s transformed Apocalypse. That means two main nerfs, six buffs and a related change to the transformed card. In each row, the first number is Cost and the second is Power.

Scarlet Witch and En Sabah Nur nerfs in Marvel Snap October 29 2026 Balance Changes

Scarlet Witch, Queen of Chaos drops from 3/4 to 3/3. Her Start of Turn ability still adds an extremely random Skill to your hand that costs zero for the current turn. Second Dinner felt the free cards gave too much value alongside her previous Power. The update leaves that source of Skills intact.

En Sabah Nur moves from 4/6 to 4/5. The Objective remains filling the front row at each location, after which he transforms into Apocalypse, Celestials’ Chosen. The transformed version loses one Power too, from 4/9 to 4/8, but still swaps the lowest-Power front-row character at any location with one from your deck when revealed.

Second Dinner singles out En Sabah Nur’s strength in Anti-Polar Magneto decks, with Domino helping control which low-Cost cards get swapped. Reducing both versions by one Power keeps his Objective intact but lowers the payoff.

Discard buffs in Marvel Snap October 29 2026 Balance Changes: Hellcow and The First Ghost Rider

The First Ghost Rider gains a point, going from 2/7 to 2/8. On Reveal, he still discards the lowest-Power character in your hand and subtracts that card’s Power from himself. The extra base Power helps offset the downside, though the result still depends on what you discard.

Hellcow is now 3-Cost/5-Power instead of 4/7. Her text remains Activate: Discard a card from your hand. The lower Cost lets you put her on the board a turn sooner, then choose when to trigger that discard. Her Power falls by two to balance the easier timing.

Hellcow still uses Activate rather than On Reveal, and her text doesn’t let you choose a particular discard target. Our Hellcow buff guide explains how that affects the turn you deploy her.

Wolverine, Horseman of War Objective change

Wolverine, Horseman of War increases from 4/3 to 4/4, but his Objective now requires six Power instead of five. You still have to give him two more Power to activate his payoff. Once complete, the Objective gives one of your cards at each location +4 Power, spreading the boost rather than concentrating it.

Wolverine gains a stronger starting body, but activating his Objective still requires two extra Power. Second Dinner wants strategies that spread buffs across locations to stay competitive with decks that build one very strong card.

Klaw, Leech and Entropic Havok in Marvel Snap October 29 2026 Balance Changes

Klaw rises from 4/2 to 4/3. His Ongoing text still gives the location to his right +6 Power, so the extra point improves Klaw’s own lane without changing the adjacent effect.

Leech gains one Power, going from 4/4 to 4/5. His On Reveal now removes text from cards costing six or more in your opponent’s hand. Previously it applied only to cards costing exactly six. Second Dinner uses Death as an example of a card this can affect at higher Cost. It does not strip text from characters already on the board.

Entropic Havok rises from 3/3 to 3/4. At Start of Turn, he still steals one bonus Energy from the opponent if they have any. The extra Power doesn’t make that bonus Energy appear when the opponent has none.

The Marvel Snap October 29 2026 Balance Changes also give Leech a wider range of targets. Our Leech buff guide explains the six-or-more-Cost rule and why it applies only to the opponent’s hand.

Marvel Snap October 29 2026 Balance Changes: Miniaturized Lab fix

Zombie Black Cat and Proxima Midnight could previously disappear when discarded with Miniaturized Lab in play. Second Dinner says this interaction is fixed in the October 29 OTA. This is separate from the printed stats of either card and does not add a new Discard ability.

Hellcow is cheaper to set up, Leech can reach more expensive cards, and Scarlet Witch and En Sabah Nur contribute less Power. Those are concrete changes you can account for when checking your deck’s Energy curve and card interactions.
