Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 is coming to an end with the Collision event set to usher in Season 3. This season has been one of the most exciting in quite some time with the addition of Zero Build modes, which completely overhauled Fortnite by removing building from the game for the first time ever.

This change looked to be temporary, but due to the success and popularity of the mode, it was made a permanent fixture of the game. There have been rumors this season that a Zero Build Arena mode could be coming to the game soon, perhaps something we could see introduced next season?

But, before that can come to the game there is the Collision live event to take part in, which will see The Seven and IO finally clash in a fight for the ages. Here is everything you need to know.

Season 2 Collision event date and start time

The upcoming Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 live event will be called Collision and will see The Seven and IO battle it out with the Mecha Team Leader being rebuilt after having been destroyed back in Chapter 1 Season 9.

This fight has been building up all season and it will surely help set the stage for the upcoming Season 3 and could shake up the Fortnite story in a huge way.

The Collision live event will take place on Saturday, June 4th, at 4 pm EST/9 pm BST, with all available modes being disabled 30 minutes before the event.

Players that aren’t taking part in the event with a squad will be paired with teammates to assist during the event, which does indicate that it will once again be interactive and will require the player’s input and actions to complete the event.

If you log in to Fortnite ahead of the event on June 4th starting at 8 AM EST/1 pm BST you will receive an exclusive loading screen and lobby track, which means if you take part in the event then you will receive it.

It is worth noting that Gold Bars reset at the end of every season, so any that you have left will be removed, so now is a good chance to spend them by getting the best loot possible and trying out the many available Exotic Weapons that can be purchased.
