Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 shook up the game in ways players have never seen when building was removed.

This was only meant to be temporary, but due to the overwhelming support for the Zero Build modes, Epic Games decided to keep it as a permanent mode in Fortnite.

Now, Epic Games has reenabled building modes in public matches, allowing players to choose from Solo, Duos, Trios, and Squads in both regular building and Zero Build modes.

Building has remained in Fortnite’s competitive Arena mode throughout Season 2, but that mode can be incredibly difficult for casual players.

Although many fans are understandably happy with the decision to keep no building in the game, it does beg the question as to whether the player base will be split too much, with public match players now split into eight possible modes, not including Arena, Creative, Imposters, and Team Rumble.

But, it does now allow players to play Fortnite how they prefer, if you like building then you can, if you don’t then you’re not forced to.

In the coming days, the voting will begin for the MK-Seven and Combat Assault Rifle, with players being able to choose one to come back to the game.

Before the vote begins the weapons have come back to Fortnite to allow players to use them both before deciding which to vote for.
