Fortnite adds Zero Build mode permanently

Removing building from Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 was the biggest move that Epic Games has ever done, with the game just featuring a Zero Build mode since the start of the season.

Although it would seem that Fortnite without building just takes away from what makes the game unique, and perhaps it does, it is a lot of fun though.

The original plan was for the no-building modes to leave the game on March 29th, but with the latest 20.00 hotfix update, the new Zero Build mode has been made permanent in the game.

Epic Games released a trailer announcing that the Zero Build mode would be staying and it is playable in Solo, Duos, Trios, and Squads.

Building is set to make a return to Fortnite and public matches will feature both options, but no date has been given for its return.

However, players can still use building in the game’s competitive Arena mode, which saw the season points reset today.
