Since Fortnite was first released in 2017, Epic Games has developed relationships that have allowed for collaborations with some of the top entertainment brands and artists including creators such as Ninja, musicians such as Marshmello, as well as TV, movie, and video game franchises including Star Wars, Marvel, Street Fighter, Halo, and many more.

During a recent Unreal Engine 5 presentation, eagle-eyed fans noticed that some file names relating to Fortnite hinted at some new collaborations that could be coming to the game in Chapter 3 Season 2, and 3.

Prominent Fortnite leaker Shiina revealed that file names relating to Family Guy, Doom, and Darth Vader were seen during the live stream.

“Epic Games may have accidentally leaked an upcoming “Darth Vader” skin in their Unreal Engine live stream. Here are the other names that were seen but I didn’t tweet about so far:

Family Guy

Doom

C3S2_ArmTease”

This wouldn’t be the first time that Family Guy has been hinted at in Fortnite, with images of the iconic Peter Griffin vs Chicken fight being found in the files prior to the Street Fighter skins being announced.

Epic Games has a very good relationship with Disney, with the battle royale game bringing many Star Wars and Marvel characters to the game, including a full Marvel-themed season in Chapter 2 Season 4.

Chapter 3 Season 2 will still be taking place when May 4th arrives, which is often referred to as “Star Wars Day” with many fans using the phrase “May the 4th be with you”, get it? Because it sounds like “May the force…”, I think you get the point.

May 2022 will also see the release of Kenobi, a brand new Star Wars series based on Obi-Wan Kenobi during the years between Episode 3 and 4 when he was in hiding on Tatooine.

This makes then the perfect time to release new Star Wars-themed skins. Currently, the game has Boba Fett, The Mandalorian, Rey, Kylo Ren, Finn, a Stormtrooper, Sith Trooper, and Zorii Bliss.

When it comes to the Doom guy, the main character in the Doom franchise, he could make a good character in Fortnite and would suit the style of the game. It also looks like Epic Games is looking to work with Microsoft more on collaborations, having already added Gears of War and Halo skins to the game.
