Bao Bao’s Cozy Cleaning Services Switch launched on 28 October 2026, putting a panda and a pressure washer in the middle of colourful pixel-art cleaning jobs. The idea is simple: wash dirt from each scene, enjoy the soft lo-fi soundtrack and take the work at your own pace.

Destroyer Doggo made the game for the original Nintendo Switch, with solo play and online co-op for up to four people. It’s also playable on Switch 2 through backward compatibility, but Nintendo lists it as an original Switch game rather than a separate Switch 2 edition.

Bao Bao’s Cozy Cleaning Services Switch release date and download

The game arrived during Nintendo’s 28 October Indie World showcase and is already available digitally from Nintendo eShop. The UK listing gives it a PEGI 3 rating and supports TV, tabletop and handheld play.

Its listed download size is 697 MB. That makes it a relatively small install, though you’ll still need enough space for the game and any future updates. A Switch Pro Controller is among Nintendo’s listed compatible controllers.

There’s no separately announced Switch 2 upgrade pack for this release. On Switch 2, you’re using the original Switch product, so don’t expect a dedicated new graphics mode simply from owning the newer console.

Bao Bao’s Cozy Cleaning Services Switch gameplay explained

You guide Bao Bao through pastel-coloured 2D scenes, spraying away grime until the environment looks clean again. The developer describes the experience as no timers, no stress. You’re not racing a countdown to finish each job.

The environments include parks and rooftops, rendered in soft pixel art. Watching an untidy space turn clean is the satisfying part, with no combat or complicated mission system getting in the way.

Nintendo’s publisher description lists 50 lo-fi tracks, along with custom key bindings and colourblind support. It’s the sort of game you can play with a podcast or audiobook in the background.

Bao Bao’s Cozy Cleaning Services Switch online co-op

You can clean alone or play with up to three friends online, for four players total. Nintendo specifies one player on a single console, so the four-player mode isn’t a shared-screen couch session.

Online play requires an internet connection, Nintendo Account and paid Nintendo Switch Online membership. Our Bao Bao multiplayer guide goes through the player count and local-play limitations.

How much is Bao Bao’s Cozy Cleaning Services in the UK?

It’s a paid Nintendo eShop game. Open its UK listing while signed into a UK Nintendo Account to see the price you would pay at checkout. Nintendo adjusts prices and purchase details according to the account’s country setting.

Check the actual eShop total rather than converting a price from a US or Canadian store. The game is a small download, but the 697 MB listing doesn’t determine the price.

Does Bao Bao’s Cozy Cleaning Services work on Switch 2?

Yes. Nintendo lists the Switch release as compatible with Switch 2. The game stays an original Switch product; there isn’t a separate enhanced edition advertised in the product listing.

If you’d rather plan ahead for another cosy Nintendo game, Spirit Crossing launches on 16 November with a much larger shared online world. It’s a different experience with different console-edition rules.

Can you play Bao Bao’s Cozy Cleaning Services alone?

Absolutely. You can work through the cleaning jobs without arranging a group. Online co-op is there for players who want company, not a requirement for finishing a session.

Bao Bao’s Cozy Cleaning Services Switch is available now, with relaxed pressure-washing, a 50-track soundtrack and optional four-player online co-op. If you’re looking for a low-pressure game rather than a timed challenge, that’s exactly the kind of experience Destroyer Doggo is offering.
