Dying Light 2 Baka Halloween Shop is outside the Bazaar, attached to an exterior wall of the former church in Villedor. Baka sells seasonal items for ordinary Halloween Candies and accepts a second currency, Showdown Candies, for the three-week faction contest.
For the first week’s quickest rewards, donate ten Showdown Candies to Frighter and ten to Gravegade. That earns 1,000 regular Halloween Candies and makes you eligible for both community weapons if their goals are reached. Here is where to find Baka, how each currency works and what you can actually claim.

| Candy | Where to get it | Use at Baka |

Dying Light 2 Baka Halloween Shop: Where to find Baka
The Dying Light 2 Baka Halloween Shop is attached to an outer wall of the Bazaar, the former church in Villedor. Travel to the Bazaar and walk around the outside of the building rather than searching its interior. Baka is the seasonal trader for Update 1.30, and his shop is where you spend ordinary Halloween Candies and make Showdown Candy contributions. If you’ve returned to the game after a break, check that the Halloween update is installed before looking for event offers.

The two Candy currencies
You need Halloween Candies for normal shop purchases. These come from seasonal infected in Villedor and Tower Raid, as well as the immediate Showdown participation bonuses. Showdown Candies, on the other hand, go towards the weekly monster rivalry. You get them from the featured weekly infected in the open world and from Halloween Chests during encounters. Techland lists 40 Showdown Candies in a daytime chest and 80 at night. The currency you donate does not directly buy a sword from the regular shop.
Dying Light 2 Baka Halloween Shop: Get 1,000 Halloween Candies quickly
The first-week shortcut is to collect at least 20 Showdown Candies, then visit the Dying Light 2 Baka Halloween Shop. Donate 10 to Frighter and 10 to Gravegade. Each contribution of ten immediately pays 500 Halloween Candies, leaving you with 1,000 of the normal shop currency. This also makes you eligible for both community weapon goals, provided the community reaches them. A single daytime Halloween Chest contains enough Showdown Candies for both donations, with 20 left over to vote for your preferred monster.
Dying Light 2 Baka Halloween Shop: Confirmed Frighter and Gravegade rewards
Frighter’s community goal awards the Whisperblade, while Gravegade’s awards the Neural Maul. Giving ten Showdown Candies to a faction makes you eligible for that side’s weapon, but the whole community must complete its goal before the reward is released. Eligible weapons go automatically to your in-game stash. The monster with the most Showdown Candy contributions at the end of the week wins the charm vote; eligible players can claim that side’s Frighter or Gravegade Keychain on Dying Light Outpost. It doesn’t arrive automatically like the weapon.

What’s available in the regular shop?
The Dying Light 2 Baka Halloween Shop also stocks seasonal merchandise bought with ordinary Halloween Candies. You can inspect the items and their prices through Baka’s in-game shop. Techland’s official 2026 Update 1.30 notes confirm the shop and its currency, but do not give a complete named inventory or a price table for this season. Old Halloween 2025 item lists cannot establish the current cost of a cosmetic or weapon. The Whisperblade and Neural Maul are specifically community rewards, so don’t look for them as ten-Candy purchases on the normal shop shelf.
Dying Light 2 Baka Halloween Shop: Missing weapons, charms or purchases
If the Dying Light 2 Baka Halloween Shop contribution isn’t producing the expected weapon, first check that you’ve joined the event on Outpost and linked the same platform you play on. Check that you donated ten Showdown Candies to the correct side, not just Halloween Candies, and look at its community progress. If the target is complete, inspect your stash. For a missing keychain, wait for the weekly result and press Claim on Outpost; these charms require a web claim. If an ordinary Baka shop purchase is missing, check its confirmation and your inventory before spending more.
Dying Light 2 Baka Halloween Shop: Halloween Showdown dates
The 2026 event runs from 26 October to 16 November, with winning charm claims opening on 2, 9 and 16 November. Eligible Outpost claims stay available until 23 November. That extra week is only for claiming rewards already earned; it doesn’t extend the period for donating Candies. Techland also says unused Showdown Candies are deleted after the event, so use them while the competition is active. Its FAQ does not establish the same deletion rule for ordinary Halloween Candies.
