ESO Undaunted unlocks dungeon-focused skills, daily pledges and keys for buying monster-set shoulder rewards. You can join the guild while levelling, but the three daily pledges don’t open until level 45.
Players often arrive at an Enclave wondering why only the invitation quest is available. Joining the guild, earning Undaunted rank and unlocking pledges are separate steps. Here’s the complete route, including the three quest givers and how many keys each difficulty awards.
ESO Undaunted – How to join the Undaunted
You can join the Undaunted at any level. Find their recruiters in the Salted Wings Tavern in Vulkhel Guard (Aldmeri Dominion), The Rosy Lion in Daggerfall (Daggerfall Covenant), or The Fish Stink in Davon’s Watch (Ebonheart Pact). Take One of the Undaunted, travel to the assigned group dungeon and enter it. You don’t have to clear the whole dungeon for this introductory quest. Return to the recruiter to finish joining, then look under Skills → Guild for your new skill line.
Where the three Undaunted Enclaves are
At level 45, you’ll receive an Undaunted Enclave Invitation through in-game mail. Your alliance’s Enclave is outside Elden Root in Grahtwood, Wayrest in Stormhaven or Mournhold in Deshaan. Read the invitation to get Taking the Undaunted Pledge. If you joined previously, Maj al-Ragath at the Enclave can also offer the introductory pledge quest. The three daily pledge givers
Maj al-Ragath handles a rotating selection of base-game dungeon pledges. Glirion the Redbeard offers a different group of base-game dungeons, and Urgarlag Chief-bane offers DLC dungeon pledges. You can complete up to three pledge quests per character each day, one from each NPC when you have access. The assigned dungeons rotate daily. If you don’t own or have access to a particular DLC dungeon, you won’t be able to complete that pledge during its rotation.
ESO Undaunted – How many keys you earn
Key rewards depend on which pledge master gave you the quest. Maj al-Ragath and Glirion the Redbeard each award one key on Normal or Veteran, and two on Veteran Hard Mode. The DLC dungeon pledge from Urgarlag Chief-bane awards two on Normal, three on Veteran, and four on Veteran Hard Mode. That means completing all three pledges on Hard Mode earns eight keys per character in a day, outside events offering double rewards.

Accept the day’s pledges, complete the dungeon at your chosen difficulty, then return to the relevant pledge master to turn in each quest. Veteran and Hard Mode have additional difficulty requirements; you must finish the pledge objective, not simply enter the dungeon.
Where to spend Undaunted Keys
Talk to any of the three pledge masters and open their store. Mystery coffers cost one Undaunted Key and contain a random monster shoulder from that vendor’s dungeon pool. Curated monster shoulder coffers cost eight keys and let you choose the dungeon set you’re targeting. They prioritise shoulder pieces you haven’t collected yet; once the set is complete, duplicates can drop again. Mystery coffers still cost one key and draw randomly from the vendor’s wider pool. The matching monster head drops from the last boss of its dungeon on Veteran difficulty. Undaunted Keys are an account currency, so check the coffer’s contents before spending them.
How to increase Undaunted rank
The Undaunted skill line caps at rank 9. To gain reputation, complete dungeon quests, daily pledges and Bolgrul’s delve daily at an Enclave. A dungeon’s one-time story quest is worth completing on a new character, and pledge runs are repeatable daily once you’re level 45. Merely slotting an Undaunted ability won’t level the guild. For a steady routine, do Bolgrul’s daily and the pledges you have access to, then pick up any unfinished dungeon quests along the way.
ESO Undaunted- Guild skills worth knowing
The guild unlocks useful abilities such as Blood Altar, Trapping Webs, Inner Fire, Bone Shield and Necrotic Orb, plus passives including Undaunted Mettle. Different roles benefit from different tools: tanks often care about Inner Fire, while healers and damage dealers may use synergies and group support. Guild reputation unlocks the abilities, but you still spend Skill Points to learn and morph them.
If pledges don’t appear
Check your character level first: pledges open at 45. Confirm you completed Taking the Undaunted Pledge and that you are at an Enclave for your alliance. If the DLC pledge is missing, check access to the dungeon involved. Pledges rotate at the daily reset; a completed pledge can’t be repeated for another key until a future rotation. You can still run the dungeon normally without taking a pledge.
