March of Giants Pioneer Rewards include permanent access to Pandemos, the Pioneer Medal and an exclusive Early Access Pack. To qualify, earn 1,000 Pioneer Points from completed PvP matches during the October 7–18 playtest.
Most other Giants you unlock during October won’t carry into 2027. Ubisoft has already named which Pioneer rewards will follow your account into future tests, so you can concentrate on earning those before the playtest closes.
All March of Giants Pioneer Rewards
There are three confirmed March of Giants Pioneer Rewards for players who reach 1,000 points in the October 7–18 Pioneer Playtest. You qualify by finishing PvP matches; these rewards aren’t sold individually in a separate premium shop.
| Reward | What it grants | When available |
|---|---|---|
| Pandemos | Permanent unlock of the new Giant | From October 12, including future tests and Early Access |
| Pioneer Medal | Recognition beside your name in matches | After reaching Pioneer status |
| Early Access Pack | Exclusive profile customisations | When Early Access launches in 2027 |
Ubisoft has confirmed that March of Giants Pioneer Rewards stay on your account for later tests. Other Giants unlocked with tokens are temporary for the October playtest.
Does Pandemos carry over to Early Access?
Yes. Pandemos is a permanent Giant unlock for Pioneers. Ubisoft says players who qualify can use him from October 12 at 10am EDT, or 3pm BST, as well as in all future playtests and when Early Access arrives. You don’t need to spend a Giant Token on the character if you’ve earned him through the Pioneer Program.
That’s the central gameplay benefit among the Pioneer rewards. Giant Tokens earned from challenges may unlock other characters for the current test, but those ordinary unlocks have different carryover rules. Pandemos is the specifically named permanent exception.

What is the Pioneer Medal?
The Pioneer Medal is a visible sign of your Pioneer status beside your name during matches. It recognises that you participated in the early testing and reached the required points threshold. Ubisoft hasn’t said that it improves combat statistics, earnings or Giant abilities.
The October roadmap says Pioneer status itself carries into future tests. So although the medal is mostly recognition rather than a combat bonus, it is one of the Pioneer rewards intended to distinguish early testers beyond October.
What is included in the Early Access Pack?
Ubisoft promises a free premium Early Access Pack with exclusive profile customisations. That’s the full level of detail officially announced. There isn’t a reliable list of individual badges, frames or other cosmetic names yet, nor a confirmed monetary value.
The pack is a March of Giants Pioneer Rewards benefit you qualify for now but receive later. Early Access is targeted for summer 2027, after further planned tests in late winter and spring. Ubisoft hasn’t announced an exact Early Access date, so the pack’s delivery day is not yet known.
Which other Giants carry over?
None of the ordinary unlocked Giants is guaranteed to carry over. Ubisoft’s official October 8 roadmap says all other unlocked content, explicitly including Giants unlocked besides Pandemos, will not transfer to future playtests or Early Access. This is a clear answer rather than a rumour about a possible progression wipe.
If you spend a Giant Token to try a character this week, you can enjoy that character during this playtest. Just don’t treat it as permanent 2027 ownership. March of Giants Pioneer Rewards remain on the qualifying account.

Do unspent Giant Tokens or Pioneer Points transfer?
Ubisoft says that Pioneer status and March of Giants Pioneer Rewards carry forward. It doesn’t announce a conversion rate for unspent tokens or Pioneer Points into future Early Access currency. There’s therefore no confirmed benefit to hoarding either balance for next year.
Pioneer Points are your route to the 1,000-point eligibility milestone, while Giant Tokens allow additional character unlocks during the current test. Once you’ve qualified as a Pioneer, earning more points hasn’t been announced as a way to upgrade the Early Access Pack.
How to earn March of Giants Pioneer Rewards
Complete ordinary PvP matches: each win awards 100 Pioneer Points, and each completed loss gives 50. Leaving early gives nothing, and PvE and Custom Games don’t count. That means ten wins or twenty finished losses reach the minimum without a booster.
For a quicker route, link Twitch to Ubisoft Connect and watch one hour of participating March of Giants streams, or join the official Discord and redeem a code from #get-pioneer-booster-here. Both methods award the same 20% boost and don’t stack. Boosted wins grant 120 points; losses grant 60, reducing the all-win requirement to nine matches.
When can you claim March of Giants Pioneer Rewards?
Pandemos becomes usable from his October 12 unlock time for qualified Pioneers, and the medal is tied to Pioneer status. The Early Access Pack is a later reward, not a downloadable item you should expect in the October client. Ubisoft says it arrives when Early Access begins.
Make sure you use the same Ubisoft Connect account when playing and when returning for future tests, because that’s the account used for the Pioneer Program. If a reward is missing after eligibility is confirmed, contact official Ubisoft support rather than looking for an unofficial reward redemption website.
How March of Giants Pioneer Rewards work after the test
March of Giants Pioneer Rewards are linked to Pioneer status, which you earn at 1,000 points. Pandemos remains unlocked for future playtests and Early Access. The Pioneer Medal identifies qualifying players in matches, and Ubisoft plans to deliver the free Early Access Pack when that release arrives.
The other Giants you unlock with Giant Tokens during October won’t carry forward. Ubisoft hasn’t announced any exchange for leftover Giant Tokens or Pioneer Points. If you’re close to the 1,000-point threshold, finish enough regular PvP matches to secure March of Giants Pioneer Rewards before October 18.
