March of Giants Pioneer Points: How to Earn 1,000 Fast

March of Giants Pioneer Points come from completing regular PvP games in the October playtest. A win earns 100 and a completed loss earns 50. Reach 1,000 before October 18 to become a Pioneer, unlock Pandemos permanently and claim the promised rewards.

Finish matches rather than leaving early, and get the free 20% boost through Twitch or Discord if you want fewer games. The tables below show exactly how the totals add up.

How to earn March of Giants Pioneer Points

Only completed PvP matches award March of Giants Pioneer Points. Each win is worth 100, while a completed loss awards 50. These are the baseline numbers directly confirmed by Ubisoft, not an estimate based on match length or individual kills.

You don’t earn March of Giants Pioneer Points from PvE or Custom Games, and leaving PvP early awards nothing. If your aim is to unlock Pioneer status quickly, finish regular PvP matches all the way through the result rather than moving between modes or abandoning a difficult game.

How many PvP matches to earn 1,000?

For March of Giants Pioneer Points at the normal rate, 10 wins gives you 1,000 Pioneer Points. If you lose every match but finish them, 20 losses also reaches the target. For a mixture, calculate wins × 100 plus completed losses × 50.

Results without boosterPoints
10 wins1,000
5 wins and 10 losses1,000
8 wins and 4 losses1,000
20 losses1,000

That last route isn’t the quickest in real time if you’re spending a long time in each defeat. But it shows why playing through a tough match is still worthwhile: 50 points are better than the zero you receive for leaving.

How to boost March of Giants Pioneer Points by 20%

The March of Giants Pioneer Points boost raises wins to 120 Pioneer Points and completed losses to 60. To claim it through Twitch, watch a participating streamer for one hour while logged into Twitch and with Twitch connected to your Ubisoft account through Ubisoft Connect.

Alternatively, join the official March of Giants Discord and follow the instructions in #get-pioneer-booster-here to redeem a booster code. You only need one route. The Twitch reward and Discord code don’t stack into 40%; once one is activated, the same 20% boost remains active through October 18.

Fastest match counts with the boost

With the March of Giants Pioneer Points boost active from your first match, nine wins give 1,080 points; eight wins give 960, just short of Pioneer status. If all your matches are losses, 17 completed defeats give 1,020. Mixed results also work: seven wins and three losses would give 1,020 points.

Boosted resultPoints
9 wins1,080
7 wins + 3 losses1,020
5 wins + 7 losses1,020
17 losses1,020

The most useful speed improvement is often claiming the free boost before starting your matches. Grinding for a separate Giant Token won’t speed up Pioneer Points, since those are different progression systems.

What do March of Giants Pioneer Points unlock?

1,000 Pioneer Points makes you a Pioneer. The announced rewards are permanent access to Pandemos once he arrives on October 12, a Pioneer Medal beside your name in matches, and a free Early Access Pack containing exclusive profile customisation items.

Ubisoft says those specific rewards carry into future testing and Early Access. Normal Giant unlocks earned during the playtest do not have the same guarantee. That’s why this one threshold matters even if you don’t have time to unlock every playable character.

Why aren’t my Pioneer Points increasing?

Check the mode first: you need a finished PvP match, not PvE or a Custom Game. Leaving early, even when the outcome looks certain, won’t pay Pioneer Points. Also make sure you’ve signed in through the Ubisoft Connect account linked to the rewards you’re trying to claim.

If your total is increasing by 100 or 50 instead of 120 or 60, the 20% booster may not be active. Check the Twitch account connection or your Discord code redemption; simply joining a stream or server without completing the appropriate claim steps doesn’t guarantee an activated boost.

How to check your Pioneer Points total

Track your March of Giants Pioneer Points on the Pioneer Program progression screen between finished PvP games. After each win you should add 100, or 120 with the booster active. A finished defeat adds 50 or 60. You don’t need a win streak, but you do need to finish the match to collect the points.

Once your March of Giants Pioneer Points total reaches 1,000, you qualify for permanent Pandemos access, the Pioneer Medal and the Early Access Pack. Keep using the same Ubisoft Connect account for future tests.
